Lol, the speech for neutrals consisted of 'help whomever is losing to make sure no one wins'. I hardly consider that to be an option.

Would the neutral homins be happy with this solution?
One way that actually followed the lore would include the rebuilding of the "rainbow" that was desroyed in the kitin wars.
was dissapointed there were no ruins of this in the old land, it may have unlocked a bit more of the story

Neutral != Anti-PvP

Neutral could be mercenary for the highest bidder.

Neutral could be someone who wants to maintain a balance of power.

Karavan and Kami players can be just as anti-PvP or want to see it being consentual and non-mandatory to those participating in EP2.

Also, people are getting some facts wrong particularly about Tryton.

In the year 2481, the kitins set out on a crusade to obliterate all traces of hominkind. Many homins were able to escape through the teleportation "rainbows" leading to safe haven in the Prime Roots of far away lands. Kami and Karavan forces did their best to give homins safe conduct to the rainbows until these too were destroyed by kitins. Remaining homins could do nothing but flee into the wilds where they were forced to live nomadic lives in constant fear of kitin attacks.

With the destruction of the teleportation pods during the Kitin Wars, the ways to the sanctuary of the Prime Roots of the faraway lands was closed. Many homins were forced to live precarious nomadic lives until a route was established in 2485 from the ancient to the newfound lands, opening the way for the Exodus. Refugees in their droves were at last able to rejoin the newly flourishing civilizations that had resurfaced from their Prime Roots sanctuary in the new lands of promise.

also:

the Guild of Elias, a group of homins who follow in the footsteps of the mysterious Elias Tryton, a mythical character who had appeared during the dark ages of the Great Swarming. Members of the guild have been seen in several cities, apparently gathering information. They were hunted down by Karavan followers, who view this guild as a band of dangerous heretics. The Kami worshipers intervened, and the tensions between the disciples of Jena and those of Ma-Duk increased another notch.

The Elias guild organized a secret meeting that was attended by several homin representatives. Speaking on behalf of Tryton, the guild made this revelation: the Goddess Jena would soon be making a personal appearance on Atys, leading her heavenly legions, to destroy Ma-Duk and the Kamis. By revealing this news, Tryton was announcing a holy war between the Powers, a war that would tear Atys apart and lead to the deaths of many homins. The Elias guild beseeched the people to unite in order to prepare for the worst.

Tryton's announcement spread quickly all over the Bark and the reactions were swift. The Kamis asked their followers to join forces to defend the planet against Jena and her supporters, who had nothing to offer but death and servitude. The Karavan cursed Tryton for revealing the Goddess's intentions to the Kamis,

So is even Tryton truly neutral? The Kami protected his followers from persecution by the Karavan, he then warned the Kami about an impending attack by Jena.

Whatever the storyline, it is no excuse for the implementation of mandatory PvP for all those wishing to be involved in progressing the story and interacting in EP2.
