True Neutral

"Balancer"

Some neutral characters commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They are of the true neutral alignment as described in Advanced Dungeons & Dragons.

A true neutral character sees good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. He advocates the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run.

Some true neutral characters actively support balance in the world, and seek to avoid having any one side, law or chaos, good or evil, become too powerful over them or anyone else, and will work against whichever side is the most powerful. They tend to side with the underdog in any situation, and are often opportunistic in their actions.

True neutral is committed to the avoidance of extremes, and is non-judgmental.
Mayhaps, this is what they're getting at?

Homins and friends,

a lot was spoken and many ways were tried but until now all our efforts to serve the idea of balance between the two powers have failed to achieve anything but more hate between the fractions.

It's time to walk the talk and so I did what had to be done. I said good bye to my guild hall and friends, locked down my appartement and freed my mektoubs.

After that I listened to what the Kami delegate had to say and was again... dissappionted.

I grew up with the protection and teachings of the Kami (Kamie fame 100) but my journeys all over Atys and my adventurous life also showed me the ways of the Karavan. I realized that both powers are important for the continuity of Atys and the Homins - it was this way in the Kitin Wars and it should have been so for ever.

Within the last weeks, this world view started to folter, a dangerous maelstrom of violence arose, a maelstrom in which all of our principles, friendsships and ideals where about to sink... I can no longer face this.

The time has come to place a sign, a sign of respect for both fraktions, a sign for the fact, that the welfare of Atys stands above the welfare of a single Homin.

I will sacrifice my own life to the karavan sentries in the "new lands" where tha battle for the future of Atys wages to set a sign for my respect towards life.

Now it is yours, Homins, to beware the memory of the old times an to break new ground into the future.

I wish you a life rich of adventures and friends, may Atys exist forever!

Salute Sorenal

(ooc: excuse my bad english, I'm german and still working on that, but no longer on Atys...)
