Interesting that because when I was there it was the other way round. The Kami had a large group of diggers in the central areas and the Karavan came mob handed, with no diggers to wipe them out. I didn't see a single Karavan digger.

BTW, how do you view the scoreboard? Oh and there's a SCOREBOARD??!!

That makes me even sadder. Is it ranked by most ganks in one night? Or most number of l33t threats?

I never was there when the action started, I just looked at the scoreboard. It is this thing you can click near the teleporter.

It comes and goes. Sometimes one team of Karavan diggers gets wiped, sometimes it's a Kami one. Sometimes one side rides to the other camp and kills everything that moves, sometimes it's the other.... again, both sides are behaving the same way.

Well I had a blast doesnt really count as ongoing content to me, the events of last night, but the ping pong battles were good fun. There was very little "silly" comments. Me and Mioette knocked 7 bells out of each other on several occasions we were on freindly terms ig before last night and nothing has changed, had several little good natured death chats with Kamists on the ground.
This being said I do hope things settle a little so that teams can get some strategy going and do the mat missions etc because as it was last night there was very little chance and this could alienate alot of people who have been eagerly anticipating ep2 but who dont want to get involved in the mayhem.
Desert mats is abit dissapointing but i hear other areas may crop up so this may be rectified. Also in larger contacts it was abit of a nuke fest at 30 paces not much chance for melee to get involved but as things settle down to smaller team actions this may change.
Alot of players I know and respect have commented in the negative on this implimentation Its not ideal maybe but dont pull your subs just yet, let the dust settle and see how it works out last night was abit of a shock too alot of us. "decide in haste, repent in leisure" as they say. This last corny saying could also be directed at nevrax too scales and balance are so very easy to tip.

hans1976 wrote:I waved at you! You came a long way running! Did you see the cast of a doublenuke? Did you see anything in the systemwindow that even remotely looked like: "Frydeswinde casts an offensive spell on you"?

What the hell, Mioette? Did you order your helmet two sizes too small?

Well, at the time, I was too relieved to have managed to close into striking distance without being hit to worry about why you hadn't done anything. I'd already seen members of Evo in the battle, so I had no reason to assume you were a non-combatant. From my point of view you appeared to be taking part in an aggressive raid around our right flank, which I was trying to head off. However, with the benefit of hindsight, I definatly apologise for hitting you!

IC:
Apologies accepted
Your reasoning is about the same as mine, I was thrilled to see how far I got into that hell with only a pick as protection.

Well... ehm.... *actually*.... I waved and kinda hoped you would leave me alone on my mapping. Tried to look all harmless and ignorable and stuff.
One would call you action a righteous kill of a Karavan spy, someone else the murder of a digger.

How much protection money do you ask?

OOC:
Sorry for flaming, didnt had my coffee yet and it sure as hell is nice RP anyway ;-)

Now, lets consider this whole PvP stuff a bit. Read more then a few opinions and blurted mine out as well, now I have room for reflexion.
My choices mainly are:
- Enjoy teaming with Crythos and risk getting killed and kill friends (but I should realize these friends dont really mind)
- Ignore it and dig a deep hole in Loria.
- Cancel sub.
- Buy some cookies and make a cuppa Superier Earl Cray.

Hmmmmm, so everyone in the FvF zone *agrees* on getting killed and might actually enjoy getting killed?
