IIRC It was the kami who sent them there and that brings me to my last question...
How did the kami know?

Because the Kami share a collective conscience and no living species may escape their perception (they may not be able to sence the Goo directly but certainly would know about an infected creature)
The Goo was also present in the Ancient lands BTW and the Zorai were fighting it there too

Hmm. Pretty divided community we have here. Excellent.
Seeing the strong Neutral showing (though the sample size is admittedly small),
I hope Nevrax plans to toss a few crumbs (mini-events?) our way too.

I favor the neutral, Hominist view myself. We will likely have to wait for the arrival of some sort of leader before events and missions are provided for us. Groups without leaders seem foriegn to the Neverax thought process (even the Trykers have a leader. That makes no sense.)

Being as there are no temples to Tryton...
Perhaps a better poll woud be:
In the upcomming events will you:
Gather materials and build temples for the Karavan.
Kill harvesters and destroy buildings for the Kami.
Just sit this whole thing out.

Heh, no, they just need something to be angry about

.
According to predominant sociologic thought, the pattern of society goes through a number of configurations, beginning with anarchy, winding a few different paths through tribalism, fascism, feudalism, oligarchies, democracy, etc, and ending in the ideal society, an enlightened anarchy, wherin there are no leaders, nor laws, merely a society of people with common sense and good manners.

Which society is ravaged again and again by brutal raiders, causing it to decend into violent anarchy. Then it can all start again
