As a compromise, couldn't Nevrax staff post totally anonimously? That way we know these are staff comments but don't know the ingame ID. Then we might learn the true thoughts of the neutral ingame community. I am supposing you do want that neutral info.

Most seem to have ignored the above post that was on page one, including Lawrence. However, thanks to all who contributed, especially Lawrence.

Hum, there is an even harder policy applied here currently. You'll find below the detail of the current policy. In short: devs don't post on the boards using regular player accounts. All posts from Nevrax employees are like mine: with a big Nevrax logo you can't miss. :)

For CSRs, the rule is less drastic: they can post with regular player accounts; since most of the CSRs were already Ryzom players before joining the team, we didn't wanted to prevent them from posting on the boards. They usually keep posting the same way; there is no "I became a CSR so now I'll only say positive things about Nevrax" rule when they use their player account.

=====
**Forums
- all devs have access to the ryzom.com forums in read only
- only a few have the rights to post: Jessica, Xavier, David, Vince and the CMs

**Game
- dev do not have access to live shard with their devs accounts. Exception to: Nevrax CS, Executive Producer, Ring Producer
- all devs are granted a private account to play. This account is regular, just like any players and is submitted to the same rules as the player. Aka, a dev could be banned by a CSR. Only SGMs and Nevrax CSR have a way of knowing that an account belongs to a dev or not

It is unreasonable to believe that someone with a vested interest would not have a conflict of interest.
