We are sliding some in, anyway; EP2 is all about advancing the story based on the actions of the players and the Outposts are as much about some new things for crafters and harvesters as they are about controlling an Outpost. More about that as we approach the player tests on ATS; if I give away too much too early, I'll be bludgeoned at my desk,

Well that raises about as much qestions as it answers but I wouldn't want to be responsible for any horror scenes at Nevrax so I guess I'l just wait for the things to come...

Really?
It sure seems you doing what, then you first make zone pvp what forces player to kill ech other for mats or just to gank, then you make it not possible to team opesit factions , then u want to start a war against many of the friends we been makeing since day one what we don't want to.
And this in fact what you have kept telling us what is our choises what shapes the world by how we act and how we play the game.
And infact you say this here now with EPS 2 is by choises of the players.
Question 1.How do you explain the not focusing on makeing game more pvp then you infact doing so for the last half year?
Question 2.Why is our choice not valid in the game, the way you say it is?
Question 3.Where is the story you so foundly speak of, all i have seen up to now is a bunch of lose ends what never been finished?

Needless to say it'll take some time for her to get here....
*nods* Slime-cohesion factor an' all. Travelling any faster than she is now she'll lose too much and then impact on Atys will be too rough. Hopefully when the outside slime cooks in the outer atmosphere it'll help things along. If nothing else it'll smell different.

The story is IN PROGRESS. Just because the loose ends aren't tied up yet doesn't mean they never will be. It's an ONGOING story.

Bludgeoning would involve a blunt weapon which is smashing damage... The weakest weapon/damage type in game... you guys need to play the game more

That seems to be a contradiction because I don't remember the "old pvp system" ever having anything to do with the writings and tests of Outposts we did through to Launch. In fact it seems like a lot of good ideas and working code has been thrown out to make them into PvP instead.
the Outposts are as much about some new things for crafters and harvesters as they are about controlling an Outpost.
But do the crafters and foragers have to join the Outpost controlling PvP guilds to be a part of this then? It reminds me of AO's Notum wars which added tradeskills... but only as part of PvP. When PvP is optional, but content is linked to having to be involved in PvP... then PvP isn't really "optional" but necessary.
More about that as we approach the player tests on ATS; if I give away too much too early, I'll be bludgeoned at my desk,

So I don't expect an answer in this thread, but I hope it will be talked about at Nevrax and we'll eventually see some answers to all the many PvP worries.
To go with outposts a few questions I would like to submit (there is no current QA thread for XVI):
Are crafters and foragers being given parts to play in the conflict at all outside of support skills for combatants?
When will we see the content for the Guild Halls as was originally proposed through guild missions for Outposts?
What about tribes and Kitins raiding the outposts?
Will there be non-pvp outposts? or does your guild wanting to control an outpost for raids and other content mean that you forcibly consent to PvP?
Prior to release the words Outposts and PvP were never to my knowledge used together. In the last half year I've yet to seem them seperated. This is bothering a lot of people who were hoping to see Outposts as something other than another game with just PvP land grabs.
