Is this one in your imagination? Or have you read about it somewhere? If so please point me to it. If not, please stop making up history in an attempt to win an argument. :p

You should also remember that the story of how homins got to Atys is exactly that, a story, a legend. In other words not, necessarily true. The TRUTH is we don't know for sure.
riveit wrote: All Trykers know that Jena is a beautiful hominoid, for how else could she marry Elias Tryton? As for the Karavan hunting for Elias, every marriage has it's spats! Ask any husband.
Yes she is beautiful, I can just see her in her tower - "mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest invader of all?" My point - beauty does not equal good.

I think invading another planet with your army and wiping out thousands is a little excessive for a lover's tiff. ;)
riveit wrote:As as for branding the Jena's Karavan disciplines as aliens, yes, of course they are aliens to Atys. Homins are aliens to Atys as well, as you just said yourself.
Actually I was born on Atys and, like the Kami, am a native of our fair planet. Where our ancestors came from is not the issue for me, it's this false god invader from another world that is. :p

riveit wrote:So when will you give up defending the freakish Kamis and their loony cult? Obviously you have been brainwashed with goo to put on those wooden faces.
Actually I'm Fyros, I don't wear a mask. :p

Where do I defend the Kami? I have just pointed out the falsehoods in other homin's claims about Jena and her Karavan army. It is the evil invaders I denounce not the Kami I support. I will fight for the Fyros if the invaders come, not the Kami.

NOTE: all of the above is old game lore that is no longer ingame/on the website.
And therefore irrelevant, so what's your point Spriteh?

More trivia from the master of useless facts? :p

We play the game and roleplay based on RETAIL lore not BETA. Based on the lore on the website.

Actually I would consider it very useful knowledge, it clearly shows where some of the "misinformation" comes from. There are still players from the beta playing, and sometimes they remember the old lore and not the new one.
On top of that, it shows that the lore is still being worked on and that Nevrax have an interest in developing the lore/game as well.

Of course the changes in lore is interesting in itself, but that is probably for my own curiosity only.

The old lore could be a good indicator of what the developers were thinking as they began to piece the story together.

I was answering your question of where he saw it ;)

<- Made me chuckle too ;) Tho I agree with lienchang that the changing lore is one source of these arguments; Homin's understanding of their history changes, just like ours on Earth - some people embrace the "new truths" and others revere the "old ways" :o

The myth
The homins lived on an impoverished planet until the Great Dragon, the prince of darkness, came and seduced them with visions of crystal waters and a land of plenty. After leading them to Atys, the Dragon endeavored to extinguish the sunlight there and in the cold and dark reduce the homins to slavery. But Jena, Goddess of the sun, creator of Atys, got wind ... The Goddess then conjured the light anew so provoking the Green Rising so that the homins could live again in harmony in a bountiful world.

.. Jena, the Goddess of Atys and Mother of Hominity. We have been sent to watch over Her children to give them guidance should they lose their way, and prepare them for divine elevation on the judgment day. ...

Never forget, like me, you were made in Jena's image, and faith in Her must prevail in your heart for you to receive divine grace when Atys can no longer support homin life. In return for your devout offerings, She has invested us with divine authority to resurrect your spirit, to teleport you to distant lands, and to teach you how to wield our technology.

Aye, that is part of lore that Karavans like to teach Homins who listen them.

Only words i remeber was my first greeting from our town Kami ambassador..."I, like you, was born on Atys, together we must cherish it and keep it from danger. "

Might be more than myth, there is in fact a place covered in darkness called land of plenty on Atys. But then, most myths have some roots in reality.
