Good point, Fyrx ... the women are still missing but the male was left in a state near death. Too bad he can't be questioned to see if he had a female companion that was taken?

hmm, Missing Homins, and a homin obviously drugged with a strange drug... drug..., drug..., it rings a bell, was'nt there a report about the latest Cuthroat invaders looking for Matoxia ?, have they found it, and are experimenting with the effects ? is the Snatcher in reality one of the spies that are lurking arund ?

Oh goodness, that sounds vile.
They dump the guy they tested it on.... but some poor women may be paralyzed the same way and remain in captivity?
We simply must get to the bottom of this, and quick!

FYI: event != PvP, there are many different kinds of events, this one is an RP event. not that difficult to undersand imo...
or do you attend one of Drakfot's storytelling events and expect Drak to chop you to pieces?
Ok first i want to apologise for posting OOC in this thread again, but i wanted to reply.
I understand it was a roleplaying event, and attended it as such. However, there was very little in the way of roleplay other than 'read the forums' which kinda spoiled the whole thing for me. Nonetheless I tried to get involvend and Seren spent the best part of an hour trawling pyr looking for clues and being very afraid of abduction.
My point was, if it was a roleplay event, dont give the impression that there is stuff to do after the roleplay (looking for clues) when there isnt, and above all, ROLEPLAY there was very little interaction and this was so disappointing.
For the record, I wouldnt expect drak to chop me to pieces at her storytelling, i would expect that more at a samsara pub night, both of these events i enjoy immensly as i enjoy roleplaying.

Rosine Antosi of Yrkanis worked in the great Pyr imperial hall as a maid, Yesterday, she set off home after a long days work but unfortunately never reached the safety of her dwelling. This morning her supervisor sent word to the Pyr guard that she has apparently disappeared without trace, having failed to report for work. Her apartment is located in Dexton Street and when we traced the route she used to return home, we found items of torn clothing which her supervisor later confirmed to be her maids uniform.
We received this letter in our headquarters this morn. We are treating this as genuine unless proven other wise:
Sergeant Ulyros
Imperial Square
Pyr
Heed my words!

Incase anyone didn't notice, Tidings' signature is a link to another snatcher movie. As well as covering the discovery of the injured homin, it has a few "extra" frames in it that appear to hold a warning written on something "held up to the camera":
"This is a warning"
"Call off your investigation"
"Or the next one won't be spared" (the last one is a bit tricky to stop on because its not on a keyframe so you have to be either really lucky/fast reactions, or go through frame by frame
)

I did the frame thingee. Took some dapper to get a copy of that film strip off the Pyr Police, they are edgier than usual. Not even the usual keg of deep-stored fire brandy seemed to be enough. So looking through those many many small pictures, I found those three signs. There is another 'blank' insert a bit later. There is a symbol at the right edge on the last two pages, almost like a '5' morphing into a '6', bottom round and closed, top angular/square and open.
Just out of curiousity, when the film pans up from the victim lying on the ground over a strip of wall decoration up to the roof, can that spot in Pyr be identified? Also the other places where victims were found, where exactly are they on a map of Pyr?

I think the last note reads "Blood" and also has "-X" in the bottom right hand corner ?
