As soon as I heard you'd been sitting on the fringes, harvesting merrily away I smiled and cheered! Don't really care about all the other stuff, whether you were saved or hunted down, whether playing nice means having to fight or trying to harvest without doing so. Eh, academic really. You got good mats and anyone who wanted could have tried to stop you.
By the looks of things, most of the others had fun just fighting! Sounds really cool! And there'll always be more mats at the next pop.
This was kinda what i was fighting for, to allow people like Bijam the right to dig the supernode without people ganking you cos you are digging "their" sources.
Good for you Bijam

One thing is clear... This doesnt' really look like a Kami/ Karavan conflict... maybe it will soon be, and this is going to get a mess if we are tagged automatically by the fame system because I was teamed with Kami champions (shall Jena forgive me!). This PvP was more based on the current political relationships on server that some Kami/Karavan conflict that may be pushed on us (will OmegaV be able to team Infinity in the future, assuming they have the fame I think they have? Cara Via and Posmo I thought they were neutral, but I don't know what fame they have)
So.... I cannot say "the Kami side" and the "Karavan side" nor the "Good guys" and the "bad guys" sooo... let's say it like this (what I recall, sorry If I don't remember all, also I am trying to be exhaustive but some were just for only a part of the event)
Team 1: Infinity + OmegaV + Cara Via + Guardians of Life
Infinity: Brithlem, Lillaryn, ... (sorry, need coffe before remembering all), what was one of their healer's name?)
OmegaV: Thara, Spiff, Morgaine, Uberdoyle, Lockheart, Praha, Fateress
Cara Via: Moon
Guardians of Life: Posmo
Team 2: a mix, several guilds involved
Themac, Ming, itsmagic, tooken (KoO) , Rushin (?), Booster (Nemesis), Anissa (Wanderer), Scarazi (odissey) Alibooma (AoA), rundll (Order of Nameless), Kosto (?), Bloodbath, Gamic (Samsara)
Cara Via is Karavan Aligned, not neutral, and is not allied with Infinity or OmegaV.
Looks like Moon was just having some fun with some friends, including her old guildmates. She came to us from Infinity, and has friends in OmegaV.

I know moon and I know the context of yesterday PvP event, but this raises a nice question that we coud all *friendly* debate here (I don't have an opinion or answer myself) but:
do you guys think that a player actions have/can have/must have an impact on the perception of the guild he belongs to to other players? is a player expected to behave in some way because he belongs to a guild? Is a guild accountable for the actions of its members?
this is "one of those MMORPG questions" that we all have more or less asked at some point. Please note that I can fully understand Moon playing with friends she knows and that what happened yesterday has little to do with Kami and Karavan conflicts, but I thought it worth discussing. I know of course some answer elements like "depends on the guild, everyone is able to play as he wants", "depends on guild policy", "not if player is OOC/IC", etc. but there may be some subtle issues and specially in Ryzom world?

I'm sorry I strongly disagree; actions have repurcussions.
