Figures, Tryker *are* the best characters. ;)

You mean combat skills? Seeing I cannot dig these bandits to death, make that number 21.

The first bandit raid was pretty sad. Some of the leaders were rank 3 purple, but the rest were in the red range. The second attempt was much, much better. Rank 5 purple mobs are what we fight everyday now, special events should either have insanely powerful beasts or hoards of normal ones. The hoards were a lot of fun.
This was a scouting group, the black 4* are currently being trained in the belly of the dragon. They train on 5* grey kirosta's. Be afraid, be very afraid....

I would like even more for there to be an in game reward for the first person who comes up with the answer. But as it stands, I find it to be an interesting challenge.

Keep the events coming, please. I am offering honest criticism in a hope that future events will be even better. Make them grander in scope, more pressing in consequence and deeper in plot. Challenges, for most of us, are what make games worth playing.
May I suggest that next time we meet a scoutinggroup, you pick a rifle and some bullets? A challenge is also what you make of it... ;)

There are some really great things about this event. I like the encrypted messages. I think they give us something to ponder.
....
There should be a story hook, and build up and a dramatic finish. This event had those elements, but they did not mesh smoothly.
Slashing non aggro NPC groups...
Getting encrypted message from "char" (which met us at Kami Circle) after last bandit fall...
I see positive changes tendency, but if that isn't "Atm only testing and preparing for 'Real event'" - that need to be improved..
Why "Rehn" met us at Kami circle, when all came from Avalae?
Why "Rehn" told for us encrypted message only when bandits were killed..
Why bandits roaming in Fleet. Garden - don't attacked us?
Why we killed bandits and we been told from someone "Event for today done. Tnx for paticipating".
Why not arrange wandering bandits 1* in circles and after breaking 1* circle we need to break 2* and till 5* where we find [mini]boss killed which and looted we find "encrypted message"...
Announcement "All to Avalae gates", ~1 hour slashing and burning non aggro, ~1 hour slashing higher aggro NPC, then someone told us "Done" all tp'ing away...
Why not more than few hours fight, more than 1 day for "intermediate steps" and half week for "final/finishing step".. with DP, in region(s) filled with aggro NPC...
Protecting and cleaning out the land, solving riddles, and not from 4am up to 6am, when servers announcement "Pull" and someone tell "Done for today", but longer..with DP, but without XP... and all these bandits patrols should be aggro.. we need to clean land to let for our foragers dig...

with DP, but without XP
Are you masochistic or something?

There's challenge...then there's pure punishment.

And the raiders were aggro. After respawning in Davae I was killed by the raiders a couple of times while trying to get back through northern Fleeting Garden.
The amount of players with skills above 200 = the total amount of players on the server - 20. The vast majority of us have tested ourselves against the worst Atys has to show us time and time again.
Make that 22.

I assume you missed whole concept, what i've meant..
raiders were aggro when i spawned in Davae
They were not aggro 2 days and when event was already started, our group reached Kami Circle and passed not aggro bandits which wandered few days in region without attacking anyone, Why?...
masochistic
You think it's right when ppl getting xp but if die - dont getting DP? (some asked for healer, to hunt raiders for XP)
Oh..we dead again, I'll use TP, which is 50 meters away and return.. Oh wait, we all spawn.. still no DP
We (at least - some of us) need fight for something. We need to defend something.
We need to have penalty or dont have access to something while region(s) invaded by bandits.
We need other events end than "Event done, tnx for paticipating... ah wait.. there is encypted message for you.." and any idea why this person/char dont speak to us before, when he met us at outpost...

I may be wrong, but it looks to me like you are very upset about the event the other day?
since I havent ever participated in an event such as what we have had the last two eekend, I rather enjoyed it. It may not be that big of an event, but the fact events have started again is a good sign, is it not. They can only get better from here as they learn what the ppl on the game want.

No no... it was fun...

I just trying to point out where was "something wrong".. What IMO need to be improved/changed.. just conversation, not complaining..

I have to agree with Booster, at least about the DP thing. Imo, no risk = no reward, how can you feel proud of 'winning' if there is no risk of 'losing' ? And DP would make ppl think more about tactics and plan to avoid wipes etc (this is in general, as i missed the event mentioned).
Not sure about the gaining no XP tho, but its a very interesting thought.

Ok, I missed out on the whole thing - apart from beating up a few patrols in the early days, so not happy there, but regarding xp..If its anything like the mass treks or other mass player events - you have a team member who is an AoD/CG or Master of Pain/Life..you arent going to be getting much xp, or you DONT have any team member above 200 in combat skills, and dont get ANY xp.

As a suggestion for events with wildly disparate skill levels in play, forget the normal xp, and find a way to give the participants some token amount of xp, even for the teams that lack the weight of fire to claim kills in competition with AoD's. Even healing outside your own team contributes to overall victory - but reduces your own teams potential of making a kill.

As for DP, it's part of the game, and can be cleared easily enough. no reason not to have it present -especially if Im not there to get any :p

Bah, no luck in translating that last message. :(

I've tried letter substitution, Vigenere square and Digraph ciphers with no success.
It doesn't seem to be a Playfair cipher either.
I hesitate to spend too much time on a Homophonic cipher. :p

My main guide has been The Black Chamber.
