A minor kvetch about things wot don't seem right

Yeah, the madness is good for mobs that have low hp but high damage like ragus and kizoaar. Soloing with madness requires 100 lvls higher melee or so and good range credit won't hurt either. Sucks when compared to elemental, like everything else.

Has anyone found good use for skills balance hp or reduce explosion damage? Any scenario that I can think is rather marginal.
