SOUND - Do you play with it on or off?

When digging OFF (voted OFF).

The only exitement soundwise in my long harvesting day, is an explosion now and then.... and digging close to some 6leggers makes me turn down the volume anyway.

While I'm teaming, hunting etc. sound is ON.

I think the music is jarring. Also I'm very unsatisfied with ambient sounds. In fact, almost all of the sound in the game is mob "calls." We need much more sounds of rushing waterfalls, chirping birds, buzzing insects, milling townspeople. It's better than it was when I started playing, but it still feels like a vacuum.

If you want to hear a waterfall, go to a waterfall (seems obvious). Want to here other animal sounds, look out for them.

There are chirping birds, rattling snakes, and other things that roam around.

Is there really waterfall sound somewhere? I did not hear it although I visited a waterfall. I can hear birds etc but no waterfalls

I don't use sound at all.

ONe of the reasons I still play this game, is that i can watch TV, talk to RL ppl while playing (PC in front room) and go AFK as needs be.

On, and I use the slider if I need to turn it off. I don't like the HD access freeze if I check it on or off. I usually have it between 1/2 and 1/4 volume, so I can hear it if I get aggrod :P
