Unless the GM's name was Xavier, Jessica or DavidCohenCorval I won't run around sounding like Chicken Little. Until the sky hits you on the head... or "Loading Patch 90... Please wait while we age your character 40 years" shows up on your monitor...
I am continuing to have fun with what we have. We've been doing missions for the past three days and found a couple new pages. It's been a blast although missions aren't for everyone. Yes, my avatar is still a virgin so he doesn't know what's he's missing. But Soma been lookin' real pretty lately...

Well, what I remember from postings by mentioned persons, they have said that aging&kids are still on roadmap and all gh related improvements to game has been halted because Ryzom Ring is supposed to address those needs.

One of the main points about the aging system was that you could postpone the innevitable. Now, I don't mean Fountain of Youth but you could sustain your youth and vigour with a selection of mechanical and alchemaical means. So you could stop your character getting older, or that least stop the effects. That was one of the things I looked forward to. Even without having to have a kid, trying to stop aging would add a huge element to the gameplay. Imagine actually having something worthwhile from the missions. Something that really affected you. Imagine the varying ages of the characters who had great success or really just didn't care about it. Wise old sages and explorers who never seem to age, warriors in their prime and heroic old hands.
