yes but if you look at the results of the consumables poll it shows that people want them :x and thats a change for soloers team lvlers too but its still a change o.0 amazing how the two poll results are so different

As a matter of fact is not that amazing. At least in my oppinion. Let me explain.

A lot of people voted "yes" for potions and "no" for adjustment. They did not understand that the implementation of potions would adjust de facto the way you are playing solo. I'm not saying they are dumb. They will realise that by themselfs.
Most of them don't even try to understand the post. They are posting replies only for the sake of posting.
IF you ask me - and I bet I'll get a lot of flames for that - team XP should be tweaked. Masive.
Let's say if you get 2990 xp for soloing a mob, in a team of 2 players you should get around 750 xp. In a team of 3 peeps - 500... and so on. Basically (xp for solo / nr of players in team) / 2. Maybe divided with 3 or even 4.

I agree with johntf. Playing a mmorpg does not necessary means you have to team with people. You are encouraged but it should not be a MUST. Multiplayer means multiple players, but not teaming or cooperating with those players.

I have the feeling that the ones who desperately support the teamwork ideea are not that experienced as they like us to believe. They can't stand to a challenge alone and they find their strenght in numbers. Of course, after you find the benefits of teamwork, is very hard to throw them away and start soloing. You need balls for that. And they missplaced them I think.

Now, to make this post somewhat related to the topic at hand... I have givin the solo aspect of ryzom more thought, and I like Vutescu would be in support of some kind of change. But teams already do suffer xp loss, and if there is any kind of a level imballance it can be terrible.

I dont like the idea of potions, but from what i gather they are in planning already so I'll just have to deal with it. I think that a solution could be to treat HP/Stam/Sap in a simmilar mannar to Focus. That after a kill, you get *some* of the HP back that you spent in killing. Maybe you get like 25% of the damage done to you back, and all of the credits used back. Just thinking....
