Fails to make final connection after character selection.

I have the same problem as well. All ports of the router are open. No antivirus or firewall on. My system is ok, enough memory and free space on harddisc... Checked with PingPlotter, no packet loss. And reinstalling the game didnt work for me :(
When i get FS-lost ingame I have to wait a few hours before Im able to logg back on... :S

No I dont, nor do i have a wireless one. Got a Sweex router.

I don't know the brand "Sweex" but it might be the same issue than with linksys. Be aware that The Saga of Ryzom only utilizes UDP connections for data exchange between the client and the server(s) - it might be that your router doesn't recognize the connection as a real connection and thus discards the packets after a while.

You could try and check your router logfile for anomalies...
