First off, i agree with Cerest! I thought we were the 'mature' community, opinionated, but mature. Please act so.
Second. This is not a "standard" piece of software. Automated testing tools do not exist for probably 75% of what this game is if not more. I do however agree that a manual test plan should be instituted around every function that is changed in the game. However, if you have been in real-world development of a piece of software that requires a multi-person team, you will realize that these things happen, and as they do, you add to your test cases.
What you are in effect dealing with is the version 1 release of software. If you compare this to WoW (did I say that?), you will ntoice that WoW is really in like version 8 or so. Nevrax is taking the correct steps, and telling you that they realize their mistakes and are working on it.
In the end, I must say that their ability to make changes, fix, etc. is much faster than 95%+ of the software companies in the world. If you look around you will realise this to be true.
Since 4 months ago, things have gotten progressively better. If you cannot step back and see this then you are missing the big picture. I think what many people are missing is that WE have the ability to add content to the game. Do some stuff with others besides Power Leveling, there is a lot of fun to be had. In our guild, I am the event planner, and we have begun doing 2-3 scheduled events in-guild every week. It is amazing the fun you can have. I will look to create some events that include non-guild members soon.
I think if every guild scheduled 1 public event a week, we would have so much 'content' you would not know what to chose to do.
Just my opinion though.
