Where to lvl above 200???

When someone reaches level 250, do they then get no xp if using the level 250 tree, so make the rest of their party also get 0xp? I hope not, because that would kinda defeat the whole point of being level 250 for me: Being able to help others (my guildmates mainly) easier.

I see where you are coming from here (if they are at lvl250 why do they need xp?) but I am guessing (I haven't got 250 in anything but this would make sense to me) that they still get "xp" for some things in the same way that it is still possible for lvl249 people to get 3k xp if they find something huge enough. The difference would be that for the lvl250 person, the xp doesn't count to anything. That or just having an unfillable bar for xp in the action window would make sense, so they it maybe stored up xp in case they extend the skill tree at a later date?

As I say, this is all pure guesswork but I think it would make sense...

Yeah, I'd hope it'd be like that, you still carry on getting XP as normal (i.e. just slightly less than you did at 249), but the xp doesnt count towards anything. Thanks for the input

Well, in talking with my AoD friends, they don't get any ability to work off any DP using the 250 skill, so it doesn't sound like this is the case.

One reason why if I ever hit 250 in several forage skills some year I will make really really sure to keep one at 249.

Just to clear this up... you CAN remove DP with a lvl 250 skill.

Yes, but what about efficiency?
Much faster clear DP using 100ish/200ish melee with circular attack or forage than try clear using 250is skill.

Yes, "they" have abitily, and can clear DP using 250 skills.
But, for AoD, to clear DP using elemental magic, in Matis, one way - HighGrove, sometimes this mean more DP, also time to get to spot, but anyway not best choice.

Yes. And teammates just get slightly less xp than in team with char lvl 249

Im not yet there (soon ) but from reliable sources:
250 harvest = about 50k DP removed per pull.

On healing, at 250, no message at all about XP:
Not "you didnt get xp, action too easy", not "u get 1xp"
just no msg at all ...
