Why is Tryker so quiet this week?

Come in, pull up a chair, let's discuss all things Ryzom-related.

And kinda omnipotent too, everywhere I go, I can look my fellow homins straight in the eye without looking up. Versatile, hardened, reliable and independant, but also helpfull, kind and willing to teach to the one who is willing to learn.

My far nephew was a Fyros, I hardly see him anymore, being a Tryker is kinda demanding :-)

I think its pretty lame that people travel to easy hunting grounds to level. When i was leveling melee and mage this never even crossed my mind.

...or maybe you didn't know the easy spots eh? :D

Usually in my experience, the ease of a hunting spot is chosen based on the team being present. If you have a small team, you choose a spot where you know you can take stuff down, but also where you get good xp for doing it. If you have a larger, more powerful team, you choose another spot (mainly you're forced to do that, due to xp-division calculations).

At the end of the day, why would you not find mobs that give the xp you want easily, if those mobs are available? :) Saying you avoid easy spots smacks of bravado, or simply not knowing where the good spots are :D

(btw this is a completely friendly post, lots of smilies, no offence intended to Homins, Flora or Fauna...) :)

if i wanted easy XP i would go to FF and nuke things from the top of the canyon but i dont :P

Even when i was power lvl ocxy i didnt make things easy for my self. I mean i could have sat on that bridge and pull, kill, over and over .. Yawn

I like an element of danger.. danger = fun.

I hate when team set up in a nice little spot and the only thing that move for the next 3 hours is the tank.... boring. Go stand in the middle of spawn and fight much more of a laugh (*poppage*)

1.) nuke things from the canyon is an exploit and you know it

2.) if you can get the same exp for hunting mobs that you kill in 3 hits instead of 10 hits would you not go where you only need to hit 3 times? Well you basically answered that yourself when you said you powerleved on Onxy.
