I specifically do not want the dev to implement dye for armour as it negates the colour element of the mats. I just want them to increase the range of colours available from choice up. At the moment (I have been informed - I am too weak to try it all out myself!) we have only red and blue (normal mats of choice or higher) and black and white (PR mats). Realistically, without the need for complex statistics, this leaves us with shades of red and blue (pink, etc) or black and white, when we get to a high enough level. I thought that the choices should open up at this point. The basic and fine mats should have a very small range of colours while the rarer mats should be brilliant shades of various colours, allowing higher level users to create unique looks. The other way around is no reward.

I agree with Sky on this, let's get the game that they wanted to make, first, before working on new "shiny" features.
On the other hand a few more base colours wouldn't hurt...
BTW Frydeswinde, better check you calculator

Heavy armor:
6 pieces in an armor

Each piece has 96 possible looks.
Light armor only: 96^5 = 8.153.726.976 possible combinations
Medium armor only: 96^5 = 8.153.726.976 possible combinations
Heavy armor only: 96^6 = 782.757.789.696 possible combinations
Any type combo:
helm: 96
vest: 288
sleeves: 288
boots: 288
gloves: 288
pants: 288
288^5 * 96 = 190.210.142.896.128 possible combinations.
I see a number I have no idea how to pronounce or write down, but I kinda get the feeling that there is loads of possibilities for being creative with clothing and appearance.
You can also apply weapons too...
Grtz,

What it means is there are a huge amount of item variety in-game already.
Adding the option for just two colours on items will double that already very large number that is too big to comprehend.
I would like to see colours enabled on weapons and sheilds, long before addition items are added.
Shields with guild logos would be a straight forward addition that would increase the use of sheilds.
Just letting my imagination run wild .... how about the component colour effecting the item.
Shell/cloth sets the main colour
Stuffing gives the highlight colour
Lining give the trim colour
Clip gives the stap colour
This however will make the item database so large that low end machines just wouldn't be able to cope!
Next people will be asking for facial expressions

pretty sure facial expressions are already possible. Well you get them on the character select screen
