Re: The kinda skam I would fall for

I've used this exlpoit once. I might even use it again thoguh I have a tendancy not to. When I used it, I dropped a bunch of mats on the merchant at something like 4-500% from MC stable, Teleported to Zora, bought them back and dropped them in the GH for my guild to grind.
I attribute my usage of this to the fact we can only buy a GH in the capital when we really want once in Min-Cho. I do recognize this as a problem. Primarily a level based one. For example, for a level 40, 12k for a TP is a lot of cash. For a level 150, it's nothing. So basically the Higher level you are, the more you benefit from this action.
I think a fair wait to make sure that this isn't 'overly' exploited is to have Vendor's charge a 'holding' fee for the items you sell them. When you buy it back, you have to buy it at a +1-4% dapper increase. This means the cost of what you're doing will increase along with what your potential 'benefit' would have been. Is it still worth it? yes. Is it just as worth it to use this to all players of all levels creating an even playing ground? yes.
Keep in mind my mats go to the GH. I don't make much money at all. I have potential when I need it, but overall, personally, I'm taking a hit. So technically it hurts the 'purist' /noncom/noncraft harvester. But that's their fault. Ryzom's great because of it's diversity and if you don't play around, you're likely to be screwed in more ways than someone half your level in two different skills.
