You can combine the self heal stam and health and use them at the same time...someone hasn't been messing around enough with actions i see...in the beta my fighter had 3 self-heal actions, the first was straight heal 600, second was heal 500 stam 100, third heal 400 stam 200, so if i was running low in hp and stam i could use one of the latter actions, it was working out just fine for me...didn't have many problemsdyriddw wrote:Healing too much? When you use any self heal (stamina, health, sap, focus) you lose ability to use ALL other heal types for like 2 mins. That already makes buying the others pretty pointless.
Why don't these have individual timers?
In tough battles, I constantly have to run away because even though I bought the heal self skills, I can only use one (usually health to avoid death debt), which means that if I run low on stamina/sap when I run low on health, I have to heal and run when I should be able to simply use the other heals that I've spent pts. buying.

That was exactly what the stanza system was supposed to do... Bringing creativity into your game? Always running low on health AND stamina? Combine two healings to one and see the kipees die! Works like a charm. (And I have only reached lvl 20, wonder whats out there)
Re: News: Patch One & Patch Two
The only other channel I'd like to see is the AUCTION one, any more than that will just get messy and confusing.
As others have asked I would like to know more about the Magician Glove and what will become of the Magic Staff.

If we are getting NPC vendors to sell things on, what do we need an auction channel for?

[QUOTE=Satchi]Patch One includes:
Having the WTS vendors is great for crafters, and can be ok for harvesters, but it truely sucks for adventurer types who find themselves needing a staff... or a boot... or whatever and finding 47 gloves for sale. Also IMO having a WTB set of vendors helps improve the economy for those selling stuff since they don't worry about setting their prices too high, are not hated for having a stranglehold on those who need to buy stuff from them... most importantly though, it prevents the "ffs I've been trying to find a X for N hours/days/weeks" since they can just put out an order and wait till it gets filled or raise their price if they find it was too low for someone to bother.
Basic/fine/choice/etc mats all seem pretty much standard stats as long as you have the same basic/fine/choice/etc mob/harvest drop QL. It could easily be handled for those with a tiered selection system where you just drill down to what specifically you want and select the QL. A little more work would be needed for finished crafted items, but could easily be done with range X-Y sliders for the stats you want it to meet and a way of verifying that said item is actually possible.

Having your stam/heal/sap/focus timers decoupled reduces downtime and provides flexibilty.Fred1l1 wrote:You can combine the self heal stam and health and use them at the same time...someone hasn't been messing around enough with actions i see...in the beta my fighter had 3 self-heal actions, the first was straight heal 600, second was heal 500 stam 100, third heal 400 stam 200, so if i was running low in hp and stam i could use one of the latter actions, it was working out just fine for me...didn't have many problems
Want to heal? Go ahead. Stam low, but health OK 1.5 min later? Go nuts and heal your stam, knowing that you still have your health heal in 30 sec or so.

Big time!jackovas wrote:How about fixing the Sap Crystal bug?
I encountered this bug today, just started a mage alt. I'm grateful to GM-Takashi for all the help (and I hope I helped to narrow down the cause and possibly move closer to a solution) but the existing "fix" is a big PITA if I may say so.
Started out with the Big Mage Pack so I could have Acid and Fear from the beginning... so when I got hit with this bug, I had to grind out 5 levels of Fight to get Crafting start; those points were needed for Health stats and heals, so I had to bang out 5 levels of Craft to get... Harvesting Start; then Harvest for 5 levels to get the skills I should have been getting with Fight.
Net Result? 145 SP invested just to reliably make Sap Crystals.
This needs fixing before the patch, that's for sure.
Why am I posting here, when I could be PLAYING?

I just hope i wont be forced to reroll my 2 favourite toons because they took the wrong *profession* for their race....gralen wrote:YesOn a side note, I'm somewhat concerned by the future race divergence. I just hope that the experience will bring enough excitement to the game to warrant the inevitable backlash from players who will feel wronged by such a move. Of course, I could be totally off base here and everyone will love the change. I've been wrong before, so here's hoping.
