Playing EVE atm, very bugggy.... and very booring even with 3 accounts =)

Hmmm... does anyone here play Entropia Universe while waiting for Ryzom's rebirth? It's a skill-based sci-fi game on a hostile planet.

The problem is that it's a game where you pay real money for items, I don't want to pay a dime until I know I will be having fun -- but it seems like it CAN'T be fun until you pay for atleast a gun or so. I'm not playing, but a little tempted.

I did try it Ulani, was disappointed. Graphics is below Ryzomean standards, the community is ok but mostly very individualistic and money-centered.

Without investing real cash into game you spend days in useless grind (collecting sweat from animals)

Other than that - aye the game is pretty cool but what is mentioned above was enough to scare me away.

GAHAHAHAHA, dirty ole' Ptolmea here... giving very late homage and a location of myself.
You'll find me scouring the lands of Vanguard (Character name Ptolomea) occasionally. If you need more details just ask. The realm I'm on doesn't come to me, but I am in a guild called Atys Paladins.
I also mingle in Tabula Rasa, the EU server(Character name Cocytus) and the Pegasus (character name Ptolomea) server.
However, I miss the lot of you. no game can touch Saga of Ryzom. Well hopefully I can get in touch with some of you folks in the future.

Oh and I look foward to WELL, has a bit of promise to it, unfortuneatly I am unable to sign for Beta... simply because of the language barrier. Though there are ways around. I'll be stalking your site

I tried the abomination called Entropia Universe.
Of the countless MMOs i played, or at least tried out, this has to be the absolute worst.
I dont know who would play this abomination, miserable graphics, miserable game system, miserable community.
Yes everybody should try Entropia at least once in their lives just to see how low a game (and its players) can get, its a very valuable experience.
Everquest 2 and Vanguard are awesome games, they offer incredible content and depth and imho they the only alternatives while waiting for Ryzom to come back to life.

Yeah, I kind of suspect that the "real money" thingie breeds a terrible community. I'm deleting the game from my hard drive.
