Sasi lasted WAY longer than i did O.o a few days and i was done.. carrying a bucket of water shouldnt be more rewarding than killing 30 spider-monster things....

I'm not really playing anything atm myself, except kingdom of loathing, but that doesnt really count :p

many other games crash on me, and i've finally realized WHY! so.. i've commited the ULTIMATE SIN... it'll arrive at my house sometime next week in the form of a box, containing a certain bit of software what goes by the name of Windows Vista Ultimate.. AKA THE ULTIMATE SIN. but, itll solve my current problem. i just have to hope the new ones it causes arent too bad! :p

after that comes in, maybe ill join you people on SecondLife O.o (it doesnt run on this setup with XP...)

If you don't mind my going back a couple of topics, I was wondering which server and which side all you WoW folks are playing. I'm considering WoW, and if possible I'd love to play with fellow Atysians.

Thanks :)

Tried and played LOTR for a month or two - absolutely hated it. I own a laptop so it's really not the ideal gaming machine, but honestly I cannot get over how Ryzom still looked totally beautiful on it, compared to other games out there where I have crank stuff down just to be able to avoid running off of cliffs. (Obviously, that was never a problem in Ryzom in the first place, but secondly, somehow I could even afford to crank some settings UP.) And that was just /one/ issue I had with LOTR.

Nothing impressed me...at all... even playing on a computer that can handle maximum settings. (I won't even get into this.) Sure it looked pretty nice, but there was nothing original about it. Nothing like running through a portal into an underground iridescent world full of things you have never seen before. You might think, given the opportunity to stretch creativity to the limits - of which there really are none - you'd run into so many more impressive games out there.

Of course, being based on a world in a bunch of books I guess they did have some limits... But I digress.

I do have to admit there were some neat ideas I ran into... I chose the minstrel class - yes, I who falls asleep while healing in Ryzom lol - and it had pretty good potential - if you can get beyond the mildly retarded concept of plucking a ukelele to heal someone. (Which brings me to comment...why must I /see/ my target for them to be able to hear this afore mentioned ukelele? Way to be realistic...) But for all the potential it had, there were strings attached to everything that just completely ruined it for me. I'd get excited about some new "spell" I received only to find out it's useless in the situations I need it most.

Anyway this is turning into a long ramble: Summing it up: LOTRO sucked.

Soooo... Saraii is biding her time in EQ2 (three cheers for SOE, eh? lol).

*hugs from a dig-deprived hominette*

Anyways if anybody wants to give it a go on any EU server, give me a shout at drzaemu@gmail.com. Somehow I'm getting the itch again ;)

Gameplay

To briefly explain what the game is about. Rising Force Online is an Epic mix of traditional fantasy mixed with unique futuristic sci-fiaction to bring an entirely new and original take on the existing mmorpg genre. Set in deep space on the Planet Novus, take your pick from three all-powerful warring factions leading your character into the final battle for control over the entire Novus Sector. Choose from either the Bellato Union, taking control of individual robot battle units, the Holy Alliance Cora, a mystical and fantasy orientated faction utilising power of magic, and finally the mighty accretian empire, a futuristic cyborg faction intent on spreading destruction across the entire sector with their advanced weaponry systems.

The Accretian Empire; a totalitarian regime that demands all for the Empire. There is no feeling when it comes to the destruction of other factions and for good reason, for the Accretia are a race of mechanised units with a materialistic thinking. The Accretia are proud to be the strongest and formidable faction in the galaxy, and all things living. Their need to expand to the further to the further reaches of the universe to become even stronger is paramount and a ket driving force to their being. This has inevitably led them to the Planet Novus and the arcane civilisations it plays home to.

The Cora Alliance is a spiritual civilisation with a firm belief in religion and the magical arts. Though the history of the Cora has been built on religious wars, which has created multiple states and nations, the faction is strongly unified through its core religious beliefs. The Cora people, united as the Holy Alliance, now battlefor their survival using the magical powers drawn from their spiritual beliefs and traditional weapons blessed by their god, Decem.

The Bellato Union utilise machines and some magic in their culture. Renowned for their great mechanical minds, intelligence and hand-eye coordination, the Bellato can construct huge armoured battle mechs and weapons to use in the war. Though they are physically strong and intelligent, the huge gravitational energies from their home planet have left the Bellato with smaller builds. The Bellato are experienced traders and their financial minds and greed have driven the need to extend out to other planets, to colonize and claim resources. To expend out to the rest of the univers, the Bellatohave to ensure that the Novus Sector doesn't fall under the supremacy of the Accretia or Cora. This desire to expand and grow will no doubt leave the galaxy engulfed in turmoil and chaos.

The epic race for supremacy has begun...

I like the game and final and his friends have done a good job come on people try it out
