and that definition doesn't even come close to how I've seen the term 'carebear' used on any other mmorpg forum ever (mmorpg.com, CoH/CoV, Ryzom, FFXI, EVE to name a few). On all those forums 'carebear' gets thrown at anyone that expresses a dislike for any form of PvPer. Even saying I like PvPer normaly but don't like free for all open pvper often gets people called 'carebears'. It's a general mmorpg gamer term now and not mine or yours to define how we like.

The absolute best way I could read that if I really believed you meant it as a joke is that it is soe in joke that very few people would understand ..... in jokes don't generaly work well on forums with alot of people that aren't in on it.

The funny part is the online games you mentioned, you forgot:
SWG, WoW, Roma-Victor and Guildwars. combined, far bigger then all of the ones you mentioned. A carebear isnt a person who hates pvp, a carebear is a whiner, simple as that.
