Did some testing on the shine last night.
After a few tries people started saying gratz.
Ill continue whit it for a whille! I hope more
will do the same!

Shine just doesnt go well with me just missing somthing I cant exactly put a sound to shine like I can ding! I dont usualy say ding until I hit large lvl intervals.If people start using ding every lvl we usualy just tell them to stop doing it until it is significant.

This was an interesting thread by the way

Its a nice idea but ding just has a certain ring about it, and ive found the players I hunt with to have replaced it with 'ping'

Usually then followed by things such as....

pong
sing
song
gong
dong



All silly but then a little bit of sillyness never hurt anyone, alteratively if you hate the whole 'ding' 'dong' 'shine' business you could slap the person round the face with and oversized wet fish and tell them to sod off.

I myself im opting for what I've always used: 'Woot woot (insert desired lvl)"
