So far my experience with the introduction of PvP have been smooth, haven't had a single incounter in either prime roots or Nexus, so for me it is all acedemic.
I will even go so far as to say that most people will respect harvesters and explores in PvP areas. Sure some will be killed on sight as these are PvP zones.
But I fell confident that if you explain what you are doing, and that people know you to be honest about what you are doing, they will either rez you, or at least leave you alone next time (assuming you are not barring down on them in full battle gear, training a major aggro mob

).
And as someone said (forgot who, sorry), things might change even further when the outposts become available.
Overall I still think most people will get along, mainly because there have been so few (rumours about) "bad people".
I always try to filter what people do/say in this game into RP (roleplay, is this their character) and RL (reallife).
I might not like what the bad ones do in RP, but they at least have a game reason to do so, whereas the bad RL goes to the ignore (and in very bad cases on the "don't even help list").
If anyone wonders, I don't have any purely on the bad RL list at the time of writing.
P.S. Reading back on what I wrote, it is a bit jumbled together. Oh well, give it a chance anyway
