My goodness lol. You don't get the option with other games to remove your name from the item you created so why should Ryzom be any different?
People asked for this feature in the first place, they complied really quickly.
If you don't want tells for items you are making then don't make any. If you don't want tells, which is what is the real problem here I think, then turn them off.

Some people asked for the "option". I certainly wouldnt have asked for this feature to be mandatory. Maybe in "other" games there isnt this option, but Ryzom has
never before had this at any stage.
I wont be making any further items for resale. I dont need the money, i did it previously to help the community and players to maybe get stuff they couldnt otherwise obtain, but i still like to guard my privacy to a certain extent. Its not that im being anti-social, i think that those who know me would disagree with this.
As to the ability to turn off tells, I WISH I COULD, (for other reasons also besides this), but this is
not possible, and is not the
only reason why i make this request.

do you see people petitioning for a jedi's name not to be on there lightsabers in swg? if anyone needs to be annonymous its them
people from other lands cant see crafters names on items maybe they should make it so you can see it on all races items
then we can spread advertisment world wide and not have to pay royalties to any advertising companys

once again another post of 2 groups who dislike and and like new small features i truly feel sry for the devs and the task they have trying to keep everyone happy. I mean is it a life threatening situation that your name is on your items if some one sends u tell in a bad tone ignore it or tell em to booger of then ignore it (and there is an ignore function).
If we as a communty stop complaing about these wee nice tos and stop pestering the devs about nice tos then maybe they can get on with the big patches and then implement the nice to haves after.
Im not trying to take away peoples opinions but come on wake up its just a name on an item - im just waiting for the first post saying that white armour isnt white its a shade of grey lol

Ozric you are a person of a very delicate psycological organisation if that makes you unhappy
You don't really want to turn this option off. Look at it from the perspective of your clients. You sell quality items at a very reasonable price. Each time they want to buy something they get a huge list of items in their faces. Looking for your name next to the required quality level would really simplify your clents' decision making. Most of the people won't bother checking information on every single item available for sale, most likely they will go directly for those that were crafted by a trustworthy person
