Raynes and Shazzy, sadly this is the place for those people who like thrashing the game, the funny thing is that some people haven't even tried the actual gameplay and are posting idiotic and aggressive comments like that. I really hope that these posts are not discouraging you from posting your experiences, because it is useful. Recently I restarted my char on Matis and I met a lot of people who decided to give Ryzom a try after reading your comments. Well done guys
P.S. If we had less people with 'unregistered' attitudes in my country in the beginning of the last century it would definetly be a better place to live now
New Players and The Free Trial.... A Very positive thing

Mmm... actually, while you remain unregistered, you *can* replace the 'unregistered' tag on the post with a name, some sort of identifier that will, well, identify you. Remaining as 'unregistered' in the ID field is completely your choice, unless they changed that since last month.
And, uh... what combat fiasco undo is still needed? i know magic still needs work, but I've gained 18 levels of melee since patch 1 (including time spent solo and, horror of horros, fighting gingos and raguses). Did I miss a memo?

This really is a Ryzom forum, pro or con, it should stay focused on Ryzom.
I am in line with many waiting to see if they fix the game, and I am sure it will be the majority of posting out here when they do.
Patch 1 was not a mess... it was a bit unbalanced but it got fixed in no time, i like the game more the way it is now. Those few who have left they would have left anyways because Ryzom just wasn't their thing. The worst problem that Ryzom has at the moment is crashes that some people are experiencing, but Nevrax is working on it.

I don't care about those who have left, there are lots of people playing Ryzom and it is never a problem for me to find a team on Matis, the combat is very dynamic, there is almost no downtime, you should be watching your back all the time, it is awesome for those people who don't like boring same mob grind over and over again And speaking frankly I don't know many people who have left after the patch, most of my friends are still here, and those who have left they would have left anyways because they just 'had it coming', patch 1 had nothing to do with it.
