Does every bug and feature have to come with a hysterical rave (exaggerated so that I fit on), just bug report it and let them work on it for god's sake. Move along... next whine pls.
Excuse me but where is the whine? The only whine i see is coming from you complaining about a discussion of a game detail. I'm sure many people have or will be sending in bug reports on this since the market will soon be flooded with items that can't be bought. Sorting thru mats to buy can be a pain but it'll only get worse now with things you cant even purchase. And no you can't filter out the 0 price items by setting your price filter to 1 min.

Back to new info. It seems the items that expired are removed from your sell list but still act like you own them on the buy list (giving you the buyback option and display highlighted). Haven't been able to check if they count against your limit or not.

Kinda sucks for that person who has thousands of mats stored on the vendor priced at 330k per mat (33 in front of default price).
I for one hope this is a feature, not a bug. I don't like having to sort through dozens of grind items some crafter put on the vendor in hopes that they might sell. Sifting through thousands of mats someone was storing on the vendor is worse. Going broke because you mistakenly bought a few mats priced at 330K each would be even worse.

To me, this seems like an exploit, and attempt at deceiving other players, and a possible violation of the EULA. One refinement of the vendor system should be a maximum price for an item based on the base vendor price -- perhaps 20X the base price.

I agree here and disagree. I've seen q50 mats listed at 1m dappers each, which given I actually have that money in the bank made me VERY careful about what I was buying for a grinding session. That should be fixed, although do keep in mind there are certain supreme boss mats that I and others would pay one heck of a lot for.

The flip side is that as a crafter of jewelry myself, do I often sell earrings for more than 20x the base mat cost? Yep. Is it a ripoff? No, since I spent 15m dappers and countless mindnumbing hours grinding up the skill tree and people seem happy to buy q100 sets. Maybe some sort of mat cap but not item cap.

More importantly, the vendor time bug needs to be fixed. Your item should just go back in your inventory when it doesn't sell and your dappers removed. Right now you just lose a vendor slot.

I don't agree that the item should go back in your inventory after a week. If you sell it on consignment, you should have to buy it back. Otherwise if it doesn't sell during the next week, it should disappear (the vendor throws it away).

other than the 0 mat glitch and reset timer glitch, i like the new vendor system, and i am fine with the vendor pitching it if it doesn't sell in a week

the filter system works GREAT

and set your cost above 0, and that will filter out the 0 cost mats

were talking easy work arounds to the current problem

they did a fabulous job and should be given credit

Sadly setting your filter above 0 minimum cost does not filter out these items.
