Heh. I am *so* inspired ... And then I remember a trip a couple of Sundays ago, before we were patch 1'd. We started out over 40 strong from Aedon Aguaeous to Pyr and it ended up that if you didn't already have the spawn points, you were left behind. We could not make it. I'm not talking about low level fighters and mages; we had some pretty good people with us and we still failed. (compare this to the same trip a week earlier when we did make it though we did lose some on the way)

Then we tried 4 times to cross BB. Again, we failed. As a lvl 72 lakeland forager (my highest lvl) I racked up over 300k in dp. It took me almost a week to work that off.

If there's a dev somewhere, cackling over how well the game now works from my example, don't let me know ... I would go BALLISTIC!

 I guess the other solution would be to create a 'very temporary' char there to be able to attend, get the info and hury and delete that skin before it sticks..

Looks like this event is a bust before the ink dried on the computer screen. So much for the unity of the races in an attempt to fight back the monsters advances.

Hope the Fyros can protect all the rest of the races when it does happen...because looks like they will be the only ones who will know whats going on.

Oh.... I can just see the line of level 1 doppleganger wanna-bes at Pyr now:

"I'm JubberJubber the alt of JibbyJab, guildmaster of The Unicorn Commitee"
"No I am!"
"No, I am!!111!!"
"Ok, then I'm really FlubberNub, guildmaster of Ve Ri Tas. I mean, Exit the Cave"
"But SlibberJub is right here, he's the guildmaster of Exit the Cave..."

Also, if this isn't an event run by the Fryos Government, but only by one citizen, and that citizen can't convince his government of the importance to give protection to and from the meeting, then why should I bother to consider the importance of this meeting? I mean after all if a citizen can't convince his own government, why should I listen?

Because listening is much better than doing nothing. I'd rather see Atys work together as a whole were something bad to happen, then slowly lose city after city to the Kitins.

Ok, I am really up for this one, only 3 of the 4 races can get there, maybe, that Zoria, Matis, and solidly of course, Fyros.

The poor Tryker would be eaten alive no matter which direction they went!

Now, I know I have seen alot of Zorian guilds that have made it to fyros and matis, along with tryker lands, and alot of Matis that have made it to Zoria, Tryker and Fyros, but heaven sake, I have not seen a munchkin commitee.

I know there is a few Tryker guilds but the poor little guys are not as many in numbers.

So with this said, every single one of us that can port to Avelade (I think that is the northern Tryker city), lets all port there.

The meeting sadly to say will have to start late because the majority of us have lives, and we work, so west coast to east coast usa puts that at about 10PM Est for the hike.

We can all give it 1 solid shot to make it with the little trykers in tow, having all zorians, matis and fyros as the caravan heading out of Avalade.

Lets give the event people something to either laugh at or talk about!

So what, who cares that a Green Gingo hits for 300 and you have maybe 1100 hp, and the fact that scary's hit for over 500, not to mention the named hit in the 1500+ range.

Who cares!

Either everyone makes it from Tryker alive, or no one goes to the meeting and it gets canceled.

So we play the game the way they want us to play it, as a team, one huge gaming team, WITHOUT segragation.

If we can't pull this together, just raise the white flag, and ask the Kittins if we can create Kittin characters to join them.

And honestly... 6pm EST? If people are working until 4-5 that gives someone enough time to organize and execute a trek to Fyros land. I remember the poor bugger in Matis land who was desperately looking for a group to get to Fyros. Needless to say his screams remained unanswered.
/sarcasm off

Please understand that I appreciate events but please think about the executability!

Given the 1 1/2 hour commute (minimum) here in The South, there's no way this city could make it at 6pm.

The event is on Sunday. For those who have to work sunday, that sucks. However, for the rest of us, that gives us a week to attempt to get to Pyr and buy a ticket. Once you have a ticket, the commute takes all of about a minute.

If you are going to set out only on sunday to try to get there, I'd sugest starting early in the morning.

Seriously, all joking asside, think straight about this for a second folks.
Even though the event coordinator is running the event in Fyros does not mean that the Zorian, Matis or Tryker can't get the information.

Here is the reason.

There are guilds from each nationality that have guild leaders that DO have tickets to Pyr.

So its a simple forumla.

Meeting sunday at 6:00 PM, each race designates note takers that go to PYR that have the tickets, those that can direcly attend from each denomiation go, the meeting is over for example by 7PM (no clue on that just guessing)

Then the note takers from each area ports back to a designated meeting area agreed upon by the other leaders that can not directly attend.

A second meeting happens at 7PM EST, this one is where the leaders that attended, then hold a subsequent meeting that disperses the information.

Its a simple pyramid effect.

Nervax KNOWS that atleast 1 person from every race has been to Pyr.
So does the event coordinators.

There hoping that we, as a community, can pull together to figure this out.

You have one week to determine how to approach this.

I suggest having meetings this week, get to know ALL the guild leaders in your region, and designate atleast 2 people to go to PYR for the 6PM EST meeting, those 2 (or more) return by 7:00 PM EST and have a local meeting.

Simple?
