you missed an option: 'I am very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very mad at the patch, furious at nevrax developers and frustrated the way the game it is now.'

come on people this is a POLL, stick to the options it gives you.

Or of course, if the options don't reflect your point of view then don't vote.

Trouble is, with a poll like this only those who don't like the patch are supposed to vote, so to anyone looking at it from outside it would seem like no-one likes the patch, which has been shown to be untrue by the responses in this thread and others.

Whenever you make a poll, it should always include a 'get-out' vote for those who don't agree with any of the options given...

Even the get out options might be missleading or not expressing your option really. Every vote can only cover a certain degree of opinions.

E.g. I am not mad at Patch 1 because it hinders me personally at playing the game. But it drove of so many friends/guildmates. So i voted Yes. Because the damage done to the game is irreversible.

Its a loaded vote - it automatically assumes that everyone is unhappy with the patch, and the community (or doesn't care). That make the vote worthless. Split it into two votes and i would be happy to vote.

i.e.
1. are you angry with the patch (yes / no)

2. are you happy with the community (yes / no / don't care)

Would rather see something more productive like the following:

Rate these areas in terms of enjoyment, on a scale of one to ten, where one means "I'm going to quit playing because of an issue in this area" and ten means "this is as good as it gets in MMORPGs - I can't think of a single way to improve things".

IF we do this over time and see how things change with each patch. I've included my votes to avoid posting twice.

Fighting: 6
Crafting: 3
Defensive Magic: 7
Offensive Magic: 4
Foraging: 7
Gameworld: 6
Plot: 3

averages out to just over 5 which probably reflects my current opinion of the game fairly well.

thats the whole point of the poll.
the question is, if your angry with the patch would your views change if everyone was happy with it an saw it as a positive thing.

hence no 'i like the patch' option. See i do like the patch, as i said, whats making me not like the game is the destroyed community.
