Balancing ranged combat is still pretty high on my list. Thankfully they now made it cheap enough to actually use ranged combat, but the damage and firing rate are still too low to be of great use.

The only thing that would be higher I think it to balance the mobs again. I think if the mobs and fighting went back to pre-patch everything would actually work out correct. Nevrax was concerned that high level mobs were too easy, but the only reason for that was because blind was overpowered. Now they changed blind, and overpowered the mobs. If they would have simply changed the blind skill they woudl have found that melee fight levels vs. mob levels were actually pretty well balanced.

- Put sorting back for bag inventory

- Stack sap crystals and allow them to be added to weapon all at once (or part of the stack, like most current transfer options)

- Some kind of receipt when an item placed with a vendor sells. Currently, I think i sold a couple of things, but there's no way to know if they sold overnite or if they just disappeared.

- Some way to group-drag inventory to packer and back... transferring several items takes way too much mouse action

- Hot-keys for armor & weapon configuration. For example, I currently use 4 basic setups:

* Pike, heavy armor - for fighting
* Magic amp, light/med armor - healing/mage combat
* Pick, light or no armor - harvest
* Craft tool, no armor

It takes way too long if I'm harvesting and need to put armor on and take a weapon out because i'm being attacked. I don't even really care about the time involved, it's the 25-30 mouse clicks it takes to do it. Give me a hot key with a 2-3x equip delay, and that'd be fine.

:: NPC merchants should not run out of basic NPC mats for crafting, like it was pre-patchery.

Ex: I am a level 20 crafter with crafting "3" in a particular line. I cannot find any Q30 materials from NPCs to level my skills. I really should not have to hunt and forage all of the mats to craft, esp since up until a few days ago, there was no need for me to. IMO, it is unrealistic to expect players' hunted and foraged mats to fulfill all crafting needs, especially the lower levels of crafting. There aren't enough players, even those just arriving from the mainland, hunting level 30 and lower MOBs to keep up with the lowbie crafters.

:: pre-patch combat MOB hp/dmg/exp/"evasion" rules - OR - allow castable heals to be cast on one's self.

"self heal" is too slow to refresh for soloing in any reasonable amount of time as to make it "futile". I appreciate some of the potential balance issues with allowing castable sap/stam/focus heals on oneself, but perhaps consider life heal only? I also respect that the game seems to be moving toward making incentive to group, however, there needs to be *some* fruitful way to solo that isn't exhaustingly boring.

:: Developing storyline and quests (more involved than missions) would help relieve players tired of "the grind" and help keep them engaged.

There is a lot of potential with all of the great background developed for the game, but none of it has come to life yet.

:: You may want to consider loot drops

Some players are frustrated with crafting and harvesting. They can't find crafters or the things they want from merchants at a reasonable price. Perhaps random "basic" weapons / armor / jewelry etc. would help give more incentive to hunt, and particular to hunt in groups, as higher level items could be obtained they could "grow into".

Haven't read the whole thread, but if they're mentioned already, add these items as votes for 'em :)

* Crafter's name on crafted items (on the info screen, not the name, it's already pretty long)
- Gives crafters some prestige

* Group loot mechanism
- Perhaps some sort of "pool" inventory tab (like Bag, Packer 1, Packer n) that all loot goes in and people in the group can grab from at will
- Or, optionally (at the group leaders discretion), something that distributes items randomly/sequentially in to the aforementioned tab. The players could pass or keep the items between battles

* Method for determining monster hostility/information
- It could tell you if they're hostile, if they will gang up on you, and perhaps in later levels their visual range, weaknesses, etc.
- The data could appear under the right-click->info menu for monsters
- If you make it an "upgrade" skill, it could go under both Fight and Magic

* Ability to give a teleport ticket to a packer
- So the packer teleports to whereever you want them to, and then you can either meet them there or teleport after them

* Some indication of what is attacking you
- Perhaps the dot on radar could turn yellow from orange.
- Would be nice for tracking down that pesky homin NPC who is shooting you from what seems to be many km away.

* More map markers
- Unlimited would be nice, and multiple colors

* Customizable icons for the "hands" bar
- So we can pick a "shell" icon for shell prospecting, or a dagger icon to remind us that "ignore armor" is dagger only, etc.

This is kind of just a "fun" way to spend dapper (I'm finding myself loaded with dappers lately) Of course, I may just be crazy.
* Special plants/decorations that can be set up in town
- People could spend dappers on decorative plants/misc decorations that they can place somewhere within town limits, or in specific locations (planter boxes?) that the devs set up (preferably)
- Lets people be creative with their town, feel an attachment to it
- They could fall under the "micro-vegetation" thing so they don't overload slower computers
- They'd "wear out" over time so the towns are always changing, and so no one person monopolizes it (maybe that'd be difficult anyways, if there's enough places to put the items)

Well here is my 2 bits.
1. Please oh please fix the balence vs risk issue.

2. Randomly generated lairs... not the piles of garbage they call lairs on SWG I want some that you walk into or maybe forage in to get goodies.

3. A system where stratagy and skill come into play vs point and click... one of the things I loved about ....dare I say EQ was kiteing ..... it took skill to fear kite ...or snare kiteing or pet kiteing ....
some folks frown on kiteing but I for one find it more fun to move around and fight than just sit there and take it....

4. Give us more stuff to craft. granted there is a lot but more and pretty are always good. Crafting tack and barding would be good. Huge crafting projects might be fun . to make a war machine ot transport.

5. I want to Fly I dont care if I need a winged pet or fly on a ultralight or a spell but I want to go up

6. I want to dive underwater ... Just think of the possablities.

7. I want to be able to solo. i know it goes against the entire online gameing thing ..but really sometimes you just cant find a group or you dont want to ..and at this point the way xp is handled there are gaps starting where you cant use all your hard earned skill with a group less you take xp from the little people.

8. and as my finale request ...I would like to see more play test time on the test server before changes are made. I havent really had a chance to read all the forums yet ...but I would like to know the train of thought behind all the changes that were made in this patch. I must say in all my years of playing online games I have never seen developers move so fast to take care of issues and listen so well to there players as I have seen here.... I truely feel like I as a player I have a voice in the way this game evolves. But on the other hand I just dont get why you would do the things you have done and create such havoc when in the great choice of online games out and comeing people will jump at the drop of a server. This is the first game I have really felt a passion for... Thanks for all your time you put into it on a dailey bases.

These people are insane!

Fix combat back to the way it was ASAP!!! Fixing resist levels and the nerf to blind means NOTHING needed to be done to combat... AT ALL!!

As for real wishlist? This is why I say people are insane.

I DON'T WANT MORE PICAYUNE CHANGES TO THE SYSTEM! GIVE US CONTENT!!

Apart from having back the settings on mele combat i'd also like to see more realistic behaviour on mobs against NPC's.

How can you have a NPC stand in the middle of cloppers and not get attacked?

NPC's look like homins too and they should get attacked by aggro mobs, they should die and respawn, mobs should see them as equal to a player.

It would also be nice if player could tame a wild creature and have it help you on combat, carry things etc...

Most missions are asking for unreallistic things or nearly imposible to get, they should be all doable and asking more envolving things. Ex. Why do they ask us to kill a kipe? Shouldn't we first see the kipes cause some trouble and then be asked to kill them?

Missions should be dinamic, they should change accorind to necesity why ask to kill a kipe if kipes have done nothing wrong. If kami and karavan ask us to kill them we would like to see why.

I was talking with some fellow Zorai the other day and came up with a pretty good list of goodies for later content.

First things, first- I love the art style that was used to create the Magic gloves... add that same style of unique Saga of Ryzom creativiy to all the weapons so each race has awesome looking, unique weapons. Seriously, when I saw the gloves for the first time, I wanted to stop fighting with my daggers and become a magician just so I could wear those amazing pieces of art! I want to feel the same way about my own weapons. Oh yeah, I also agree with another post about names on the weapons and armor; I like this, but put it in the information screen. Putting the crafter's name on the name of the weapon or armor would just be unattractive. But this way people can identify who crafted what and then maybe ask for a custom order.

Next- More variety in armor... That's kind of general, but I am too used to having chainmail, platemail, leather, etc... Basically, just having lots of different looks, but I really like the style for each race, so just expand on that with more looks for each race's armor. And I agree with the other posts about clothes. That would be cool to be able to dress up for the planned events and such.

Third- I agree with another post about spending dapper on ordinary decorative objects for our apartments. It would be nice to be able to furnish our apartments with our own race's products, but also other race's products, such as paintings, chairs, beds, tables, etc... This could possibly be an extension to crafting, but it wouldn't be able to go all the way to lvl 250 unless you people at Nevrax are VERY VERY creative with coming up with skills, cause I honestly wouldn't care if I owned a lvl 50 couch or lvl 200 couch... I don't think it would matter, but if you guys can come up with something, awesome!

Fourth- Honestly, I am enthusiastic about getting mounts... Just not Mektoubs. I could see the tryker riding them, but for the Zorai and Matis the Mektoubs seem too inferior and plain. The Zorai and Matis are very noble races that deserve noble mounts. I am not saying, by any stretch, that the Tryker and Fyros are ignoble or stupid. I'm just saying the aura I feel when I see the Zorai and Matis is one of nobility and aristocracy. How many members of the aristocracy did you see in movies and history books riding hunched-over, small elephant-like creatures. I have yet to travel to the other civilizations, but I would be happy if members from the Tryker, Fyros and Matis could leave some suggestions and please no dumb suggestions. I would like to see each race with a unique, cool-looking mount, no suggestions with Yubos or Kitins or flying creatures. I can see the Tryker having some sort of amphibious mount that would move faster in water, but be able to keep up with the other race's mounts on land. For the Fyros some sort of aggressive looking creature, maybe some kind of lizard, maybe bi-pedal or quadri-pedal. I don't know about the Matis other than something similar to a horse, but of course not a horse, but you get what I'm saying. For the Zorai I could see them riding the tall, noble Zoann. For those of you who don't remember what it looks like; it's about a foot taller than the average Zorai, green with very light brown shoulders, four legs and there's usually 4 or 5 of them south of Zora in the surrounding land. They seem to me to be very noble creatures.

This is kind of the biggie...
A new Skill Tree for riding- This might seem kind of big, but my fellow Zorai discussed many awesome possibilities.

First of all, this skill tree would add skills to both the rider and mount (any mount you ever own, in case they die, so you don't spend two weeks getting them strong and then it's killed in a battle).
-Active and Passive skills in the Riding Skill Tree:

--(Passive) Increased accuracy and damage if using a spear or lance (spears and lances were first used on mounts when man first effectively harnessed horses in the medieval ages, of course they used other weapons, but spears and lances were the most effective since there was more clearance when riding a horse)

--(Passive) Disabled dodge, but increased parry; since you are stationary on a mount

--(Active) A dash skill for the mount; to make it haul butt

--(Active) A skill to have the mount charge forward into an enemy to cause initial damage

--(Passive) Increased stamina and sap regeneration since you're sitting on a mount, therefore, you're not using energy by standing and fighting/using magic. This would only be a 25% increase in regeneration since you're not resting and would not include HP or focus because the mount is not a resting point and you cannot forage from the top of a mount.

Those are only some of the ones we came up with, please feel free to add any suggestions, I will then edit the post to include them.

Even more possibilities for unique mounts and the riding skill tree:
-An extension to the Armor Crafting Skill Tree to include: armor for mounts. This way, not only would each race have it's own unique mounts, but now they could have their own armor, which would also be unique to each race and follow the same armor patterns; i.e. Zorai mounts would have organic armor with leaves, wood, etc... Each armor type with their own pros and cons: light would give the least protection, but enable the mount to move faster than wearing heavy armor.

This is all I can remember for now, I will add more when it comes to me.

Please balance Ranged combat to be equal to Melee
- more damage
- when crafting ammo make it produce a bigger stack so it isn't hideously expensive. Say 99 ammo

I wish they would fix taunt so that you dont have to stand on their head for it to work (JK). But realy it's only 20 meters I beleive agro for a gingo is 16 meters if he moves your taunt is not needed because youve just been seen. Thats ok if hes alone but since when would you hunt from a single spawn.
I wish for taunt distance upgrades in 5 meter incraments. plz :)
