Can u show me evidence of that? How come i couldnt get my mats on my packer? How come the easiest mobs kill me now and my 100k packer?
And yes those devs have to work sooooooooooooooooo hard......decimating xp would have the job as well.........we could have still killed what we could only less xp. No do it the frenchie way....................

After the last patch i have had it.......shoiw me big improvements cause i am no longer paying otherwise :(
I'm not interested in showing you any evidence, i'm simply giving you my own impressions.
And do you really think the French community is that different from this one? If you're going to blame someone, blame those responsible and not a whole country.

Count the days that has passed since Patch 1, that's 3 workdays and a weekend. I find the amount of desperation, aggression and childish whining on theese boards during that short time quite ridiculous.
Ryzom players has a higher average age than other MMORPG's? Yeah right....

Pardon me if i sound irritated, but i have a hangover. :P

A few comments on the subject :
As a newbie I find it not unplayable, the opposite in fact.

I read a whole lot about all the things I could choose, checked out the descriptions on the bricks I could get, with trail and error selected good stanza's/weapons/hunting/harvesting spots. Made weapons and armor, experimented with different materials. I learned the way ryzom is supposed to be played, wich is verry different then the last world I was appart of.

It can be challenging and if your not a fan of reading post on boards and looking up information starting out as a newbie can be verry hard and challenging. The ingame help can be verry lacking but there are other players who help and awnser questions. It took me a while to adjust and find the way that is the most rewarding and fun to me.

Ryzom was a new challenge for me and so far it has proven to be fun and rewarding experiance and I'm looking forward to be appart of it for a long time to come :)

Secondly, there are people that moan because they are new and can't kill anything. Well thats not true if you work together you can kill things, and in fact if you read my player guide about zorai fighters/mages you'll see how to kill stuff solo as well.

If you can't accept the challenge - stop moaning about it - and go play something else.

The game is good, the challenge is tough, the devs are awesome. Learn, adapt and overcome.....

One minor thing I've come across but only on the forums: The way things are said is sometimes downright offensive. How does this look to new players ? a bunch of bickering hotheads! Do these forums invite new people to drop a friendly welcome message?

I agree with Xorte this 'moaning' is not good. I am a paying player to and I want to 'excercise' my right as a customer to ask for moan free boards :D
It works just like real life, moan and get nowhere, be constructive and make a change, wel sometimes ;-)

Another challenge I like to put forward:

If you think somebody writes something that, to you, is a blatent lie, or totaly not in agreement with your own views in gameplay matters, please ... please try to be a bit civilised, constructive and helpfull.

Thank you,

Aina, Yubo enthousiast

It falls along the same lines, so it might be a good read. It's near the bottom of the page.

Poker of things, caster of sparklies, maker of stuff, digger of dirt, wanderer of paths....
