Heh... what else can I say that I haven't already. Played many (too many) mmorpgs and Ryzom has by far the best CS. I agree that they do need a little more freedom in what they can and cannot do. From my experience, they can be down right hilarious at times... nice for them to actually be able to joke around and have fun
Be sure and let us know how the survey ends up compared to the other games... quite curious

Results will be posted as soon as I get 50 responses from each community and I have them tallied up. =)

SOrry to say but this poll is useless. Is like asking New Yorkers "Hey guys fill up this poll" "Do you like the yankees, red sox, orioles or blue jays"

So I should ask those who play City of Heroes to rate FFXI's CS?

Long story there's no need to tell here, but someone's reputation was damaged by name association. He couldn't get it changed, and asked someone to petition his name. I wasn't about to say this name was offensive, so I told the story briefly in my ticket and said it would be a cool thing to do. At the end, as far as rules being broken, I mentioned one of the names policy rules, and that the name apparently violated it. Within a few minutes he was asking for suggestions on a new name 8)
This was an excellent deed done by the CSRs/GMs!!! Thank you for that (on behalf of the affected!)
For our involvement, well ... the relevant party has received my statements and hopefully has taken them to heart! I am happy to have been mistaken!

Secondly...
Not entirely true - There is a bug that can affect player exchanges if one party to the exchange has a full inventory. This happened to me and a guildmate when I tried to give him a full stack of q100 Choice Oath Bark and it vanished. A guide (Tigane) helped us out and got the stack returned to us.
Yes it's true for most bugs they can't help, but they can do something about some of them.
And yes, they should be given more powers to help with genuine bug related problems, such as lost spawns etc.
No, my point is that there are some things they aren't allowed to do, and some things they don't have the tools to do. For example I lost my packer during that matis invasion event. They could not bring my packer back, even though it was technically still there. There were literally no tools for them to pop my packer back to me nor edit the char file to change the status of the packers. Apparently a full server reboot was necessary.

I have gotten some canned answers, mostly in response to my laptop having an ATI vid card. Same response is to turn off all the advanced graphics stuff and change to Open GL. Doesn't work, I was told that somone "higher up" in the tech chain of command would contact me "shortly" that was two weeks ago.
Besides that, I am very impressed with the customer service.

I was a late open betaer and have gone live with Ryzom. I have had occasion to contact a Gm about five times. EACH time the reply was faster than a minute, NO exaggeration at all.
This issues were resolved to my complete satisfaction within two minutes TOPS. The GM's that contacted me were:
Prompt!
Respectful (their tone was not condsending or insulting at ALL like some other games)
Conserned
Friendly but not rambling
Spoke CLEAR clean English
Understood Clear clean English
Seemed to NOT be hurried or overburdened in ANY way.
My daughter has had a few occassions to need a GM. She was caught in the bug when trainer ports would MISS port you from one races newbie land to another. And again the bug that would port you from noobie land to mainland.
She contacted the GM, informed them of her age, and situation. The GM helped in any way that he/she could, but I don't think they were allowed to teleport her back. What I heard was that the GM informed the Region about this influx of players that were here due to a bug and requested community assistance for these players. My daughter was PLEASED with the help she got, even though it was NOT getting ported back to noobieland.
Out of a possible five stars, I give this game's CS staff, including the forum, a FULL FIVE stars. Kudos guys, you want us to know you care...We get the point.

Stellus....
I went to respond on your L2 thread and alas my sub was up... So no posting there for me... LOL! I would have gave that game a 4...
Anyways this has been the best support I have ever seen and I think it slightly edges out AC1 in that category making it the only game I have yet to find I would give a 1 to.
