Well, the Ring is still very bugged and so are some of the rites (including the last ones to be released). That's why I'm a bit more worried about this than you. However I hope you're right about the bugs being fixed soon! =D

This one I strongly disagree with. I don't think occupations should have level requirements. The point of basic occupations is that they are supposed to be a separate system, something you can do outside of the boundaries of skills. Sure, you still need to kill the critters and forage the mats, but only a minimum level is required. I'd prefer if basic occupations remained a separate system. A noob with low skills could still theoretically become a master water carrier or whatever. I think this gives the player more freedom.

The devs have also stated that advanced occupations might have more steep level requirements, once they're implemented.

Great idea! This one I'm in full agreement with. A system in place to help with the barter of occupation items can only boost the system.
Well, about the bug fixes.... u have to consider that thr ring was released by Nevrax, long time and many bad moments ryzom passed since that time.

About the level reqs, sorry probably i expressed it with my bad english, I didn't meant the mission shoul have level requirements, but only the final items. In example a grade 1 potion no level req, a grade 2 potion a level or stat req to use.

Absolutely agree with you that the system must be separated from the rest.

to be fair the amount of bugs in Ryzom game is very very small compared to many other games even after years of dev disarray, the Ring on the other hand, well we don't go there often ;)

Really the bugs I do see are usually in the category of 'lack of features', for instance that Wheel of Fourtune is something I consider a bug. or lack of storage options.
