would only be nice if it was combined with the ability to shove irritating homins off cliffs :)

OMG yes that would be the only reason I would want jumping. So when they jump up and down in front of your face, you can shove them over the edge.

Just like an old guildie of mine did in some other game : Fun Times

They weren't bunny hopping, but it was still hilarious at the time... I wish our Mektoubs could do that. :D

Sadly, Nevrax annouced lot of things that were in fact far from working order or even viable. Spires are a good example, they started to work on it but unfortunately too little was done on them to have something we can reuse or to build on at this moment. But you never know.
WOOT!! Spires are deeaad!! :D *dances in circles*

Actually there is a bit of new info there if you look close (atleast new to me) like the Kitin Lair being dynamic and changing rather than a static always-the-same dungeon. Sounds very cool if they pull it off.

And we finally get some info on what their plans/ideas for the new ingame browser to be used for...
Like making an "in game" sign-up sheet for tournaments, a voting system for the vote of Miss Atys. We want to let the players make their own RP events.
nice to finally get some real news from them, (after trying to wring it out of them for months and months)

Projects get cancelled and delayed, ideas turn out to be impossible or too expensive to implement, etc. etc., and once you make a promise like that to an end-user community it's very hard to retract.
We can take Peter Molyneux as a good example of that :p
