Jesus Arc, don't put keywords like "insecure, loot, drop, player, wish, and French" in the same post or VL's wire-tapping machine will start flashing & whirring and the next thing you know we'll be voting in-game on whether the **** they've just implemented was a good idea or not. (again) :p

it was just an idea. but it doesn't make sense in ryzom as groundhog already said. there are many different ways how to make pvp more interesting ;) full loot could be one of them. COULD :P

are you sure guildwars have body loot?

I was just noting that what you proposed as an exploit wouldn't work under either the current game mechanic or my proposed modification.

I have already acknowledged that implementation to avoid exploits would be difficult if not impossible, but I have yet to see an exploit proposed that I hadn't already thought of. Perhaps you could send me a PM with what you think is another way in which my proposal could be exploited? (Especially since the thread seems to have been totally hijacked to discussion of full-loot non-consensual PvP.)

You're a lvl50 player standing next to a yubo outside Fairhaven, someone uses a q250 bomb on that yubo, instant death for you, and with the system you propose it'd be quite legal.
If you read my further comments on the topic you would have seen that I explicitly said that such was not my intent, and acknowledged that determining who was "in team", and thus affectable, and who was not "in team" (and thus immune) was probably a deal-killer in implementing my desire.

I do think that it would be possible to implement in OP battles (and the arena) because then players are either flagged and affectable or not flagged and not affectable. I don't think it is worth it to do it just in OP battles, however.
