Patch 1.6.1 Hot Fix:

This patch fixes a number of small and bothering issues reported by players with the patch 1.6.0.
  • Print Screen key doesn't "work". If you want to take a screenshot, you can use the Ryzom shortcuts that will save the screenshot in the Ryzom directory (C:\Program Files\Ryzom by default)
CTRL+F10 will save a screenshot in JPEG format
ALT+F10 will save a screenshot in PNG format
SHIFT+F10 will save a screenshot in TGA format
  • If you press SHIFT+ALT, it'll switch to the different keyboard layouts you have installed. It's the default Windows behavior and will give the possibility for some foreign countries to write in their own language.
  • Fixed the wrong icons (the cross) on the old mail/forum interface
  • Fixed the bug that hides the UI when pressing the numpad 0 key to see behind you
  • ALT-F4 now display the exit windows instead of instantly closing Ryzom
  • Right clicking to open the popup menu, and then pressing SHIFT or CTRL to move all or on item in the inventory doesn't close the popup menu anymore
  • Improve stats bars to be more readable
  • Added the possibility to assign SHIFT, CTRL and ALT to an action
  • Added a button to minimize/restore the web page (small triangle on top left window)
  • Change the reticle to make it better when digging
  • Fixed the missing separator in the inventory page in icon mode
  • Fixed the top and bottom borders of [friend] and [ignore] buttons on chat window
  • On the login page, fixed the password "*****" top cutoff
  • In German, fixed a text that was too long and made a button be out of the screen when you looted a mob

I wasn't interested in using it as a screenshot key - I was interested in using as I would any other shortcut key, because it's in a unique position that I can really only press deliberately. Is this hotfix blurb effectively just telling us, "We can't immediately figure out why it doesn't work, so you'll have to suck it up until we do"?

Is this your "friendly way" to tell someone: "Hey, you misread my meaning. I´m sorry I didn´t elaborate further on my initial post."?

lol - Funny thing, I thought perhaps I should offer Lomi some Fanboy repellent as soon as I read his post. Indeed, shame on him for having the guts to question the all-knowing, always right, 'savior' of Ryzom. Never mind the equally provocative statement which it was in response to.

Jeez, if only the lotto numbers were as easily predictable. :p

*rolleyes* He´s right about "Print-Screen" not being usable, they really should do something about it. I agree.
But, this can be said without being demeaning or rude, don´t you think?

Actually, after several hours of thinking about what I said, I came back to apologize for it sounding so abrasive. My post count is so low because I tend to overthink what I'm trying to say and usually wind up throwing it out the window, and today I just didn't think enough.

My initial post? Er... I had another one?
