I keep waiting for Tryker lakes to freeze! I've been waiting to break in my new ice skates I received from my mother for Kamimas last year, but I guess I'll have to trudge my way off to Matis land.

Yes some of the jungles in South America do recieve snow in the higher altitudes. They are still jungles none the less.

The Selva Alta areas can recieve snow, yes. But only rarely. As xeno113, not winter wonderland. There's a hell of a difference between that and having a 3 month snowcover. Also, those areas are usually call "high forest" and not jungle.
