Well, I´m currently looking for a full time job too and have been for most of my time with Ryzom.
I´ve paid then and I will pay now. Especially with the lowered rate.
7€ will not hurt me and I don´t believe that 10 Bucks will hurt any of you that much.
It´s one Pizza less a month.
And that can´t be bad

I f you cannot afford 10 dollars PER MONTH, like 30 cents per day ....
You cannot get cheaper entertainment than that for crying out loud, GW is a totally different type of game, its all instanced and F2P games are in a totally different league to Ryzom, which is a top quality game, both visually and in its game mechanics.
Its a world you can inhabit and explore, with tons of skills to learn, I'm currently playing a F2P game and have been grinding the exact same mob for the last 10 levels, with another 5 to go before I can move on, because I refuse to use the Item Shop. I know people that have spent thousands of dollars to progress in this game, so much for F2P.
But all MMO's are about grind, they just serve it up differently, in the end, its about the company in which you play.
But for the price of a couple of phone texts per day, you (a general non directional you) expect someone to provide all this for free?
Thats just lame.

I could pay the top rate by skipping lunch twice a month. Does this mean I pay too much for my lunches?

I could pay the top rate without having to skip lunch... only reason I'd skip lunch is because I don't always have TIME to eat a full lunch at work. Some people say time is money... why can't I buy time then ?

One month of Ryzom for €8, that's what one single trip back and forth to college to attend one single class would cost me, if public transport wasn't free for students.
A monthly card would cost me 18 months of subscription.

My monthly bus card costs me about as much as a YEARLY subscription !
So basically, yeah, the monthly fee is peanuts in comparison.

A one way bus fare would cost me a month's subscription. Happily I don't pay the bus fare, I have a card.
(Which is a good thing really, because to pay the fare I'd have to skip lunch four times a day, and I'm just not that fat.)
