to be honest almost everything seems to be posted here and nothing is done.

couldnt the official forum be open to everyone but only registered players could post..

in any case the Guest area is degrading slowly

sorry if that offends you, it wasnt intentional just tired of seeing useless threads on this forum area

thanks :)

Hi - Thanks for your comments. No, it didn't offend me at all.

Here is what the guest forums are for: People who don't have the game. Also, for people who get the game but may need some help getting registered.

The beauty and the downfall of this setup is that we have an area reserved for registered members who get full support there. They have much stricter moderation and this means a lot less junk to wade through.

However, this area is for non members and as such, it will draw trolls, flames and griefers. It's the nature of the beast.

I don't intend to ask my crew to babysit this area unless every person/post/issue in the registered forums is handled first.

We have a priority & we stand by it.

Yes, this area gets loud. It gets annoying <am I allowed to say that? LOL> and sadly, I have to read it all. BUT, YOU DON'T. :)

Here are a couple quick tips to help you minimize your headaches. (I actually don't know if these commands will work for non registered members, so your mileage may vary. I'm pretty sure the ignore function requires you to be logged in.)

When looking for information on a special subject, use the search tool.

http://www.ryzom.com/forum/search.php?

When you find someone particularly annoying, click on their name (in the post on the left side) and add them to your ignore list.

Better yet: register & go hang out with the real CMs instead of being stuck out here with me. ;-)

thanks again for taking the time to post your concerns,

swg combat = spam one move
swg pvp = one uber template, spam headshot
swg jedi = grind fest, only uber 1337's, compleatly ruined the RP jedi side
JTL = Id rather play freelancer, or x-wing vs tie singleplayer...
SWG RP = Non existant (even on the unoffical roleplay server that i tryed out, none to be found)
SWG gameplay = repetitive
SOE = unhelpfull (i had a stuck charecter, and had to wait over a week for a reply, after i sent anouther 3 e-mails, ryzom staff respond in 5 mins)

SWG role play non-existent? On Kettemoor? When I played there I participated in no less than 5 medium to large full time RP communities on 3 different planets.

I could honestly make the same claim about Ryzom at this point. Does that mean that RP does not happen in Ryzom? I hope not! Rather, I prefer to believe that I need to get around more, and research more where the RP is happening. :)
