Anyways, yeah, I don't think "tribe" is meant to imply anything more than "group of people living together". It's just a gathername for every group of homins that decides to live out in the wilderness instead of in the cities for any reason. They range anywhere from basicly just bandits that you can get fame with (Lawless) to task forces sent off by the governments (Matisian Border Guards).

In the tribes descriptions on the old Lore site, there were only a few but informative lines on each of them.
And if you click the "who are you?" question on the Tribe-Leaders in their respective camps, I think you´ll get a short explanation too, if I remember correctly.

I remember this, but it's only ever had those 5 tribes for as long as I've been here.

The chronicles site has also had articles about certain tribes; the Watchers, the Renegades, the Company of the Eternal Tree. Again only a few tribes though.

Every other tribe lore I've come across was likely player-made, at least there was nothing that confirmed it as official.

As I now understand it, my fame with these two tribes, Ecowarriers and Sacred Sap, could decrease below -50 if I do something to negatively impact them such as killing one of their members, but there is no way for the fame with either of them to again move in a positive direction past -50 as long as I remain Karavan faction, correct?
