I would like to see new creatures that were apparantly ready for quyite some time implemented with a full background story.

Nice to see the community still active. Ryzom 2.0 ... all of these suggestions seem amazing .. lets hope someones sees the awesome potential .. take care all and see you soon.

More complicated weather. In addition to humidity, there would also be temperature, wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure... and maybe even some conditions that don't exist on earth but could exist on Atys. ;) Homins would have access to skills or instruments that allow them to measure some of those conditions, and encyclopedia entries that give hints on how to predict changes in the weather. This'd be very usefull as ofcourse the whole world of Atys, materials and plants and creatures and all, reacts to the weather conditions.

More variation in creature behavior. There wouldn't be just herbivores and carnivores fighting eachother. There'd be carnivores that hunt other carnivores, and herbivores that aggressively defend their territory from other herbivores. There'd be carnivorous plants that lure animals into traps, and herbivores that 'hunt' intelligent plants. There'd be animals that live in packs and all fight as one when under attack, animals that live in packs but all flee when under attack, animals that hunt in packs to bring down bigger prey, animals that always live alone, or are even aggresive against other animals of the same species, and many more variations.

More dynamic creature populations as well. Entire species would disappear for the winter as they all hibernate. Other species may spent the winter in the desert but the summer in the forests, migrating back and forth every spring and autumn. Players would have significant influence on animal populations as well, being able to decimate the gingos from a region thus causing an outbreak of yubos there.

Sneaking 2.0! Evading predators will not just be a matter of staying enough meter away from them anymore. Different predators will use different means to detect you, and will require different means to evade. Against predators that use sight, you could hide behind trees. Or stay behind the predator, as long as it's not a species that can see in all directions. Against predators with good hearing you'll have to move quietly. Against a good sense of smell you'll have to stay downwind, or mask your scent somehow. And beware the creatures with more exotic senses like echo-location and heatvision!

I'll come up with more later I'm sure. :)

- no quests
- dynamic npc based threats kitin/marauder invasions, maybe invasions of different races
- all ops move to npc owing
- help the factions/races to build npc ops new setlements and etc expand their presence and power, that will spawn guards that even can go with u to protect u, sell cats (for example honor or missions that will expand power and territory of selected race) that their parties of harversters collect and etc etc etc (to be a homin in population)
- finished enciclopedia
- all tribes fame, maybe new plans for fame

in most - homins to be part of dynamic world :)

rading parties with npc to other territories and to pr... so expanding of civilisation with our help :) but there must be nonlinear growth formulas so one race/faction can't control everything in any cases

possibility to craft from apartments as is from meks
ability to see room content anywhere

smth like enchanting/hardening/improving for items with different bonuses/effects as craftable enchants too, maybe for special reagents and etc

more more more dapper sinks - i vote for live economy not for barter :)

different languages for different races? more faction/race/politics formal rules restricting teaming and trade?

ah and mostly forgot - make the world biiiiggger for all these purposes :D

There's already some facial expressions already. at char select screen anyways.

I've always liked it when a player would type and the avatar's mouth would open on other games, that'd be nice

INGame facial expressions. Yeah, definetly want that!!!! (But as was mentioned a while ago by Nevrax, the InGame Code doesn´t lend itself to this *siiigh* :( )

Funny thing though, I can´t see why some people tending towards a more realistic approach on the world (dynamics etc) are also crying for the ability to view our Appartments storage from afar. There´s of course some use for this, but I can´t see anything realistic about it. :p Makes me laugh eacht time I see it mentioned in that context. ;)

Yeah lots of great ideas and suggestions, so i wont repeat them all.

But personal differences made to enhance Ryzom could be some of the following:

Obviously open up more Atys World - a portal to a sister planet (with long history of the parting etc etc etc) allowing all new areas and grounds to be exlpored with new mobs.

Variation on level cap - higher cap with more interesting spells. Although ryzom has many diverse skills I do feel the actual spell system a little limited and boring - sure go play and bomb a bunch of yubus (or kinchers for a run). Different spells would be nice.

I would like to see not a "fix" but a change in the way that mobs are fought - a balance. i find it a little absurd that at lvl 250 in ele and melee that a lvl 200 or a couple of lvl 200 mobs that are not bosses can kick your butt so fast. I look at being a master elementalist as something powerful - but in relation to the level you use most your health and sap in 3 or 4 spells on a mob - leaving you very vunerable. I am not saying lets make it easy so we can run into a kincher den and run out after killing 4 solo. But i would like to see that survivability is a little higher.

On the point of survivability - yes we can trun and use stealth tactics - I have run through all abbys and trench of trials etc, sunken city - and made it to all poretals and tp´s without dying once (of course in the old days patrols would make that impossible). But it isnt stealth that I ask for an enhancement in - its the survivability of a skilled person being able to face mobs. I find Ryzom currently lackling in pve related aspects - although i am drawn to the game so much and yes I leveled to get my masters.

I would likme to see more pvp implenmented and of a different standing - the zones of void etc where you can gank is a load of crap. I would like to see something more added. Of course many dont like that in rzyom - but in 2.0 i would like it :D
