Does it really matter what colour it is displayed as on this thread?
As long as the information is right, then people can make up their own mind about what category they want to put them in....

That's why I don't do outpost politics... everybody seems friendly to me... and it's waaay too damn complicated, since you can't have a static classification.

I think the worst thing that can happen to a majority of the kami alliance and those that support them... is to not be a victim.
Thanks for starting this back up before the game even has a chance to bloom for a second time

It was a difficult decision. Karavan guilds have fought each other since the first days of outposts. I listed them all as simply Karavan though I pondered making KA and non-KA categories. However, as I watched Atys Ghosts help the Kami Alliance kick Karavan guilds out of outpost after outpost while receiving two outposts as gifts from the Kami Alliance, I felt that I was simply posting a lie. If a Karavan guild is fighting in lockstep with the Kami Alliance, then it should be noted here if this list is to have any political integrity. If not, I might as well drop all the colors.

Riveit, your opinions may be good or wrong, or may correspond honestly to your own perception and still be wrong, or be profoundly right, or, or... there is a general forums for opinions and you can tell AG, Evolution, Darkmoor Rangers, RRA, Nexus, TS, or even Band of Hawks, or all the other old tryker guilds your thoughts precisely as you feel them, no problem with that.
Fair and simple: let this thread be completely mechanical and if you have something to share with a certain guild open a thread on the general forums.
If you use this thread which is a sticky in the "guilds" section to express your opinions then it shouldn't be stickied anymore.

What we really need are these classifications:
Kamist
Karavaneer
Neutral
Tryker

That might be best Riv, as we're obviously not going to agree on this.
Personally I feel that coloring the guilds according to mechanical alignment creates a picture that's just as misleading because it implies outposts are Karavan versus Kami, and that's simply not true.

No, "free thinking Tryker" does not equal Kami Alliance. I would never equate the two. Being a declaring guild in AWWI, the Kami Alliance simultaneous surprise attack on 10 KA outposts is what equated to being a member of the Kami Alliance for me. Most old players know that Beren was a longtime member and poster on the Kami Alliance boards. Are you saying that Beren left or Jackoba joined?

Before I posted that they do not have access to the Kami Boards, I searched through every member's name and their access just to be sure I was correct in my posting.
And removing the colors may be the best thing, i'm not sure. I just know that the previous listing was incorrect and that I (and many others) are tired of having to fix things verbally over whatever kind of chat in game.
If you noticed, I also created a small disclaimer at the top of the listing I created, stating that alliances were dropped from the list (you know, since no one can ever get them correct). Furthermore, I encouraged people checking the list to get their alliance information in game, preferably from the "leaders" of whatever alliance.
Not to mention, I added colors to the information bit, before the listing, and it's really pretty =)
