One shouldn't be afraid to put his ingame name in his/her signature if he backs-up strong opinions with good arguments. I'd guess we're all mature enough to keep things on topic and not take it to insults.
Own experience:
'Cuz I mostly add to technical topics about Ryzom I've noticed a few posters there, that give great technical advice but really suck (posting harsh views, they don't really back-up with reasonable arguments) at the more social topics on the boards, which makes "trolls" hard to classify as such.
I've mainly noticed misbehaviour with the "elders" of the game, though, which is rather weird in my opinion, as those really should be able to back-up their views with good arguments, just because they should generally know their ways around.
As this is purely my view of this, please don't take it personally in any way. I'd still love to play with any of the "trolls", as long as the forum behaviour doesn't reflect there ingame behaviour.
In this sense
