tabula rasa seems fun for the 1st maybe 20 to 70 hours after that it is pointless and well not worth it. But if you a fan of CoH/CoV it might hold you a bit more... or anyone that use to play planetside.

There is hope! The fact that Gameforge France is no more, it does not mean that Ryzom servers will close. It simply means that Gameforge Gmbh somehow got "rid" of french developers, legacy stuff and all background... which, to some extent, is understandable, for a company. Now, Ryzom belongs to Gameforge. One may hope that they decide to fully control and develop Ryzom, from Germany, using internal resources (no need to pay for ex-Nevrax devs). It could be a new opportunity.

Some may not agree with the approach. Things may not be as they were, but there are so many things we don't know. No one knows whether this announcement is to state that precisely, development goes on.

To me, the *real* question is... would I trust Gameforge, once more, if this was the case, given how things evolved? did they act in good faith, with regard to ex-Nevrax employees? and the community. Am I willing to belive yet more promises (for us oldies it's getting really, really... )

As far as I am concerned I will probably go back to Vanguard since I already have a 20+ Toon there on the non PVP server HALGAR (since Servers Merged).

Evolutionneers have a Vanguard section and also a Game on section on this forum powered by Drakfot. A good way to keep track of where we are all spending our time.

X-fire is also pretty good way to find some of us.

As this is the first new post I read (haven't visited forum in 1 week or more), an unpleasant feeling starts rising and I start thinking "What the heck is this ? Am I to expect a bad news coming from Ryzom about the future of my game ?"

Now that I HAVE to read the other new posts, I'm afraid to find out what it is about.
