Sorry to say Marjo but I think the customer relation side of things here are very very poor - to the point of shameful.

Kaetemi was not *spreading* info nor *feeding* paranoia. Indeed if you want to actualy use words such as paranioa - you should learn what they mean first:

Kaetemi was not making any extreme,unrational or unreasonable feelings be known to the community - he was mearly making a PREsumption based on past doings.

And sorry to say this - but Marjo maybe if someone did their job and actualy gave feedback of any reasonable type - then the community would not feel like they do.

If you had have made a post to start with Marjo - as soon as this *incident* occured - then maybe there would not be so many worried people - or more importantly, angry people.

And as for your eventual response - first the initial part is very "open" and tells us nothing - people are just amazed that you could be bothered to make a reply and secondly - attacking a reasonable presumption made by someone of the community and taking it out of context is rather childish and unacceptable.

In all fairness Marjo has a point PLUS it's not attacking as it's not hostile, but yes it is forceful. The statement is more general about the feelings behind the posts.

I'm sick and tired of everyone ganging up on GF. Sure they are different to Nevrax, what the hell did you expect?! *sigh*

Maybe, I'll be proven wrong, I'll happily eat humble pie if need be. But heres a quesiton:

*IF* Ryzom is circiling the drain, we're being given a free period becuase GF is closing it's doors. What difference will knowing now, or knowing tomorrow (/next week) make? seriously.

Erm...well, speaking for my self, after allowing time for them settling in, I would expect them to take care of their new customers, with some feed back on the concerns that have floated around the forums for some time now. The silence here and on the other forums (we know the french people are concerned, enough to pop over here and ask if we have heard anything) is worrying.
I don't think it is asking too much for that, do you? I don't come on here complaining there is no content, when are we getting updates etc...just ask for a little communication, that's all

And yes, it does matter to me if Ryzom is a sinking ship, I prey that it isn't, but yes, I would like to know if the doors are being closed.

Paranoia can be defined in various ways - will not argue over semantics - where I get the definitiion from is normally a dictionary mate - Camrbridge or Oxford.

Whether it is to applied to this case is subjective. I would use the word presumption as it is based on past information/acts. I agree assumption is not a good recipe.

Flaming - was not - was giving an opinion just as you are - so by your own terms you are guilty of doing the same responding to my post = not clever.

Flaming someone who is (hopefully) trying to help - once again, was not flaming and do not actualu consider Marjo´s post to be much hope - you even define it as a subjective by adding (hopefully).

LOL. It´s not hostile but iit is forceful? Very subjective and playing in the boundaries of semantics once again. You "know" what Marjo was thining when she posted ? - if she did not tell you - then it would be impossible for you to "know" that the statement is "more general" about the feelings behind the post.


If you find answering a question by saying there is no answer is acceptable then that is your problem - you will be happy following the "flock" little sheep.

If you are sick and tired of people ganging up on GF then stamp your feet and pull your hair out - or just dont read the forums or answer posts -that will save you the *sick* and *tired* feelings you are experiencing

But dont expect other people not to have their own opinions and voice them in a public forum - at least they communicate.

You finally state what is the difference is GF closes the doors to Ryzom sooner or layter. Well that would be a different significance for each individual. Just because it appears that you are not bothered - does not mean that it does not bother other people. I for one would love to know if Ryzom is going to come to a close - as I would prefer not to waste time (no matter how much I enjoy it and the people around me) leveling and grinding and spending long hours trying to save OP´s when it is pointless. If it is too come to an end in one day, one week or 6 months - I would ratther end now and go back/start a new mmporg that I can equally enjoy. I am sure many opthers feel the same.

And if they have no desire to continue with anyother online game - I am sure many (based upon the multitude of posts on the forum) would like to know what is going on - to at least ease their feelings of being "out of the picture".

Bothered about Ryzom closing? Yes very much so. However I accept the fact that theres nothing I can do about it either way. I made my peace with that a looong time ago. If Ryzom closes, I will indeed be sad. But i have all my friends on MSN we will move on.
