Greetings! After some consideration of time zones of the Arispotle community, we have tentatively decided that 8PM GMT on The 16th is a fair time for most players. However we will do our very best to try and make the entire day a fun experience for all with some impromptu activities scattered throughout the day for both our European players and the North American ones.

Again we hope to see you all enjoying the occasion and hope that the players join in the festivities with some of their own ideas for player run events. Let's make the 16th a day of fun and celebration!

*sigh* 5am for me, have fun in any case, not like I ever get to attend these things normally anyway...stupid time zones.

Meanwhile, for the 'they love us' stuff -- seems to me CSR love us just fine, and they want to keep everyone happy...but devs and gameforge disturbingly silent, both here and in that other thread where Gillest asked them to talk to us.

Hate to be cynical, but I feel kind of embarrassed if poor CSRs have to just do this stuff by themselves. Sure, prolly got an OK from devs, but do they get anything else? Who knows.

~Tal, jealous of GMT-folk.

Planned events in Alamati include:
Pick a CSR game (remember the Cho merge ceremony?)
Fireworks shows
Ryzom Trivia
Guest visits from characters to revisit some lore stories
Dueling contests

Other places in Atys may see some spontaneous events as well, such as mektoub races and of course a last homin standing PvP battle Royale.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

And like all good things, the celebration has come to a close. The CSR team would like to thank each and every homin that participated in the festivities for allowing us to celebrate this wonderful occasion with you. We had a lot of fun and hope you did too!

Here's a short list of some of the answers given on the questions in the trivia contests.

Wrong facts of Atys:
- The players who have been with Ryzom since the early beta's have been granted the following titles: 'Loser', 'Greybeard', 'Noob' and 'Old Fart'.
- You should contact a CSR by phone call, and apparently cookies, dappers and flowers seem to be involved in the process.
- Gloife is a type of intelligent plant.
- The most ironic place to die in Nexus is Zora.
- Terrible monsters which all the players want dead the most include Sunce, Jackoba, Zatchel, Mardock, Nyfertiti and Jena's daughter.
- The name of the Zorai lands is Blueville.
- When the game freezes up, you experience lots of vodka and violent tendencies.
- The Kamis arranged meetings between Ma-Duk and Jena, Keiko, Waylanda, the devil, goo, Sixthdawn, a monkey, Mabreka, Tryton, and Sunce.
- Void, Knot of Dementia, Min-Cho, Soulville, Kincherville, Desert Stock, Maiden Grove, Haven of Purity and Mars are all located in the North-West area of Zora.
- The Tryker lands are also known as Waterworld and Dwarf Country, but are also called 'A watery grave', 'crappy swimming place' and 'swimmers delight', or simply 'the place with the water'.
- There is more than one Grand Sage of the Zorai. Their names are Fred, Noob, Sixth, Lexius, Gloife and Ghuiss.
- The guild dude hall guy where you can go to create a guild is called Androbia.
- Jena is an Ex-GM.
- The northernmost tip of Fairhaven is a purple square called Laghaven.
- The best chatroom around is Androbia's tell.
- 'Mektoubs make nice steaks.'
- There were Tryker resistance movements led by Jena, Che Trykara, Darmina, Mardock, and Androbia.
- Still Wyler is also known as 'some midget', 'some dude' and 'Tryker Slave'.
- The forest homin race are trolls called the Matesiansonians.
- One of the Lands of Umbra areas is called Toilet Trench.
- The answer on all questions is Jena.
- The desert homin race are monkeys called the Unwashen.
- Hoi-Cho, Rigan Mac'Darell, Leanon and Yasson signed an agreement for free cheese for all and premier football viewing. It is said that the cheese was purple.
- You can buy and sell items at the smelly guy right here, but apparently also at the Trkyer Slave market.
- Avenna and Thurmar will attack you on sight.
- The first thing you should light in a room in Matis during winter is the Matis.
- When the homins returned to the surface of Atys, the Matis took possession of everything including the Kami.
- To get somewhere in the Lakelands, you need to have a stinga rum with Avenna.

Oh, and here's an extra:
- 'Androbia(CSR) shout : i'm not a csr'
