Start to finnish. just some of the things that come to mind...
Buying Ryzom in a Gamestop, not realizing it was an MMO... Getting home, me and my mom then realize its online only... We decide to try it... First account started - Aug - 2005
starting on the old desert starter island... making range weps and ammo and selling them to the vendor knowing when "Lwoowl" got on she'd buy it all up lol. killing my first kipee...Then, Winning an event between the islands single handedly buy killing mass kipees... Being told be Waedan(Think thats how it was spelled, he was an old GM) that I needed to goto the mainland cus I was so strong... Asking him from that day forward everytime I saw him for a duel lol...
Stepping foot on the mainland... Pyr... instantly being invited to a guild, Refused... Then another asked, but atleast talked to me first... asked what his guild name was, he replied "Fluffy bunnies" which me and my mom both laughed at
... I told him no thanks, thinking to myself... "Do I look like a fluffy bunny?" rofl ... alittle while later, I got another invite, and I accepted... a guild called, Order of the dark magicians(Spelling?) where what seemed to be the only active member... Adelpha (If I spelled ya name wrong I'm sorry, tired
) was very nice to me, and helped me for awhile... but then a few days went by and I never saw her.
Then I met another peep, named "Vore" and he helped me some, And then I asked if I could join his guild, which was called "Atys Paladins" Led by Alegra at the time... He said I could and invited me... I sent a message to Adelpha explaining it was too quiet in that guild,and saying sorry
... I met many good people in AP, Alegra(one of the greatest peeps I ever knew), Chronosfera(annoyed me at times, but always looked up to him IG),Vore,(the one who invited me to AP, We had our differences, but he was a good peep) Donaskmi(a good friend there) Lucavi(This was later down the road.) Cecil(was in Infinity when I first started IIRC)... Gloife (Great peep there too.)...Vhalor(good friend aswell) Badboy (who changed his name alittle later heh.) And many many others...
I remember pulling so many diggers from there digging to come level with me, at the time I knew pretty much everyone lol. I got my levels up so fast at times people thought I was insane. *whistles* ... I remember always trying to drag Ambika from her digging
... I miss her dearly... I remember getting in a big fight with her over wether Dolak was soloable, later down the road she admitted I was right
hehe... Meeting "Chilipalmer" having a blast playing with her... Got married ingame to her later down the road heh....
Xenotal... Meeting him in OO, Fighting the bandits literally all night long, leveling like 10-15 times on them lol... we died so many times... became one of my best friends ever ingame... Ashok, Another one I met early on... Had alot of fun wit him too... I remember his last day ingame... He got killed by a cuttler in OO heh... Then Karmo, that crazy fool lol... He bacame another one of my best friends... We did missions for 18 hours strait once lol.
Skipping ahead some...
Just about two months in, I mastered Elemental (After soloing it from 235-245 in GoC) in Void, With Owllwo and Dardis... (Sorry to the third, can't remmeber x.x, Don't feel too bad remember Owl cus I was in the same room, and Dardis, cus he died IRL...) We did 249-250 in a very short amount of time heh... like 10 mins or so, with a 4 peep plod team. (No cats back then)
alittle later meeting a moody little Tryker named "Jazirel"... Loved her hehe... Spent a ton of time with her... So many people I met in this time... Like Sash, who I met early on (before I hit 250 in anything) I always typed "Sahs" -.- ... Sash started just typing "Hey Rde" just to mess with me lol... Meeting Ratara, Care about her alot... but she does drive me crazy at times
hehe... She always dug... could never drag her away from it, so I used to just go sit by her while she did lol. All of OV that I knew/know are good peeps.
Skipping ahead somemore so I don't crash the forums with my post
... (at some point in here I switched to the account I played on till now)
Much later down the road... AP started falling apart slowly, Many of the old timers left out... It finally came to an end for me and I left about 1 week before AP desolved and the remainders made "MoM" I went guildless for awhile... Then someone I had met in PvP in Dyron (He had asked for help and I tagged up and gave him some) Littletiger... Talked to me for awhile and got me to join KoO...And help build it up with him and Lewy. One thing I'll always remember him saying "You're gonna love Saraii" ... Little did he know heh... LT later became "Sunce" as we know him now, and one of my best friends, And became my brother...
Met and fell for Saraii heh... Started spending more and more time with her IG. then talking on Vent and stuff... Many MANY people asked me wth I was doing with KoO lol... after awhile KoO started to fade a bit... When I left game for a bit, Sar left the guild heh... when I came back, a short time past then me and LT started a guild named "Eternal Friendship Dynasty" which later became "Exodus Syndicate" after merging with a guild from other games. Some great people were with us in the guild including, Lucenda (named - Mom) Vhaldir (named - Dad), Pelian (Another brother, Joined early on in EFD and became a Co-leader) and many more.
It came to the point where 99% of my time ingame was spent with Saraii, Really love her... We even had two ingame kids
Lotu(son) and Dzya (daughter)But after a long time passed, things went wrong. And that came to an end... And my time with her ended. As did my time ingame... and followed shortly afterwards with my account. Which will be gone on Sept 25th. 2007.
Not the way I wanted things to go, But life never goes the way I'd like it too heh... So After over 2 years of play, I move on too the next MMO, Called "Real life" RL for short... And try to get the rest of my life back on track.
I'll always remember everyone from Ryzom, If you weren't named in this post, don't feel bad, Its most likely cus its getting late and I'm tired, and I don't wanna make this post any longer then its already gonna be
