Just to clarify a little bit about Androbia CSR, here is a link to the screenie of her statement in factionchats:
http://www.neva.org/forum/files/androbi ... 07_116.jpg
Basicly she tries to maintain old policies on her own and takes responsibility for that. Here is another dialogue with her:

I think that this is a very brave thing to do.
Because even for a person who cares for the game and the community as much as Androbia does it is not easy to take such steps.
Androbia deserves full backing up from the community imho if she will be harassed or demoted by GF which is quite possible.
The reaction of people in this thread shows what the majority of the community think about those "new policies" and so Androbia's gesture is just trying to help the playerbase show the game owners what is natural and logical for this world's this game's and this community's progression...

Topic is moot
androbia retracted original statement in uni last night
aggro dragging is NOT allowed!
false declares will be punished!
tho they not quite sure what a false declare is which I hope that can clarify
the policy as kommi mentioned is against the spirit of ryzom, I could think of a few ways to totally exploit the new rules and I'm not the smartest lad on the block.
I would like if the policy's were clearly defined by the official channels for all to see. I'm still annoyed at those who accused the CSR's and brout about this situation. The CSR's are a fundemental part of the ryzom experience and questioning their integrity without ANY evidence was a bad act. I noticed many ex-jolt people were involved and can see where the bad blood came from.

No Jacko, alas it's not quite like this...
GF has accepted "new politics" with all the horrible rules against the spirit of the game even allthough many CSR were against it.
what
Androbia has done with her statement in faction chats last night is:
SINGLEHANDEDLY go against GF politics.
That was not a GF statement it was only an Androbia statement! This is a totally different thing. And now when GF learns about this it's quite possible that the "new policies" will remain in place and Androbia get severely punished...

If they do something to Androbia,I will be really pissed off.
AND: Androbia also stated that declaring on several OPs and attacking only one, is not a false attack, but a tactical attack. This is something that I agree with, a ploy is good.
Aggro dragging policies: I partly agree, and I partly dont, Agro dragging on a peacefull untagged digger? = BAD.
Aggro dragging on 2 tagged pvpers, when your only 1? Good.
Using fear on mobs to attack tagged pvpers when outnumbered? good.
Fearing yelks towards OPs, then nuking the hell out of them when they get close, good. This is tactics in pvp.
Aggro dragging packers, mounts, and afk people= bad.
Worst thing in OP battles is trash talking imho.
Oh and Komi, all them options are super biased lol

Maybe its a good time for everyone to chill the hell out, CSR wont take action if you agro drag or mutliple attack outposts, but i think most people consider it a fairly nasty thing to do and i dont expect many / if any people to do it.
We are protesting cos the csr wont take action, but as players we can take far more action, just time to wait and see what happens and hope people can be mature about things.

The lack of CSR support may not be that bad yet but given time things will get out of control. You will always have a few Homins that do bad things that need a smack from time to time. If you don't smack the bad Homins, others Homins see its OK to do bad and start doing it them self.
It will not happen over night but with players leaving because they don't like the new OK bad things and new players coming into the game after a friend tells them "play this game it's OK to bad things", our great little community will change into something that is not so great.
*smacks GF*

I disagree. Whether or not the accusations were true or not, this (GFs) reaction is a joke. It is as if the NBA would say: There are rumours that one of our Refs gambled money on games he refereed, so we are pissed and dont send any ref to the next season. Oh and by the way, we couldnt be bothered to tell you, but new rules are: Any number of players can play, no playground boundaries, and fouls no longer exist.
The guilds that are not morally bancrupt can have a gentlemens agreement about it no doubt, but this new situation is in favor of the bullies.

What Neva said. People can go on & on about how great the community is (and I don't disagree for the most part) but they'll always be some bad apples which will need to be dealt with. Otherwise more and more will think they can get away with anything and cause upset for everybody else.
GFF just need to put their hands up, apologise for the apparent hissy fit they had after the silly petition fiasco(which lead them to drop the policies), restore/adjust them and tell us the rules.

Just say no to cats and outpost mats...JUST SAY NO.
Ok but seriously, not sure what I think bout the other ones, but the mob dragging in an OP fight really doesn't seem that big of a deal. In a real battle, I guess it's possible. Heck you could throw a bag of snakes at your enemy and it would be a great diversion!
Oh well...hope everything get's settled down though, to where most players are happy.
